Asking American Muslims to swear off Sharia law is a violation of religious liberty.
In my last thread about the Nice, France attack I stated how the media has started to completely stop mentioning the words "islamic" and now even "isis". The last attack was labeled "a truck attack" and the night club shooter was announced to have possibly taken illegal muscle building drugs.
I now present:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...b03fc3ee507c01
5 Things You Need To Know About Sharia Law
1. Sharia is primarily about a personal relationship with God.
2. Asking a Muslim to stop believing in Sharia is like asking her to stop practicing her religion. It is a blatant attack on religious liberty.
3. Sharia is not all about punishment.
4. You do NOT need to worry about Sharia dominating American life and courts.
5. It’s not the first time America’s hatred of the “other” has masqueraded as an attempt to ban “foreign” authorities.

What is your point?
Sharia is a fukked concept and contrary to our fundamental beliefs. With that out if the way, how does this affect you and I?
The U.S. Congress has exactly 1 Muslim member. Are we actually concerned that Sharia is going to usurp our own system of laws or something? Aware me.

Most Muslims lie about their religion, we can't expect anything but Taqiyya if a government agency came and said "yeah do you believe those things about killing apostates, stoning women and throwing gays off of roofs" "but ofc mr fbi agent, I AM ISIS" "well come right this way my good sir" "sure thing FBI agent."

Of course asking muslims to swear against their holy text is wrong and anti-constitutional, just as it would be to force neo-nazis to swear against their beliefs. However a foreign muslim should have as much difficulty entering the west as a slavic neo-nazi. Immigration to the west should be meritocratic and controlled, and non-citizens with extreme fascist beliefs should not be welcomed with open arms.

American Muslims don't know what Shariah is let alone have an opinion on its implementation in the West.
Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

No, not judeo-christian values. No, not the golden rule and doing the right thing. Basically you can believe whatever you want as long as it doesn't harm anyone else. It's simple.

Why should anyone have to apologize for another's behaviour?
Unless you're my kid, I couldn't give a chit about making excuses/apologies for your behaviour.
My company recently had a scandal where a dude did something really bad. The company can't be blamed for his actions.

lmao look what happened to Turkey. What was once a prosperous nation that believed in a secular, separation from church & state idealogy is being ransacked by Islam. Their leader is a Muslim facist who won the support of Islamists in his country. Next thing you know, they organized a fake-coup yesterday and today, they removed 2000 judges ( 5 supreme court members) and they have replaced them with Islam fundamentalists.

Again, what is the point of this thread? Do we actually think there is a possibility that Sharia will find a home in western society?

fukin LOL at your regressive, sexist, homophobic religion. In America, it's controversial for gays to get married. In the Middle East, gays are punished by death.

^^ I get what you're saying. And I agree.
My personal opinion is that the powers of the world cannot target extremism themselves. The change has to come from within.
I've mentioned this before on here and had a massive debate with my brother in law on this a couple nights ago. Mosques SHOULD NOT be allowed to function without some oversight by a scholarly group that is well versed in all things Islamic.
Currently, anyone who wants to open a mosque, can do so. Nobody oversees the curriculum or sits in on the Khutbahs (sermons). Many mosques allow the congregation to speak their minds which sways the sheep in a negative way.
But there are others, older mosques that end any hateful, extremist talk before it even begins. This is Big Brother stuff, I know, but unfortunately it's time for the Muslim authority to come together to address these issues.
Any meddling from outside forces will be rejected. This we already know. Insanity is doing the same chit over and over again expecting different results.

If you don't believe me, start a religion around a ****phile, slave owner and war monger who has explicit commands to kill all non-believers, go start spreading it in public and see how long you last before you get WACOed....it won't be any different than Islam, but the government will treat it completely differently.
Where you autistic leftists fail is that you think all religions are the same and you think that a death cult that was abrogated to perfection where the later verses make explicit calls for violence against non-believers is the same as a religion where God returned and mostly preached about being a hippy/loving your neighbor and the golden rule.
Oh well, as I said, it's just a countdown until the right realizes that physical separation is the best solution.

Deuteronomy 17
If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant; 17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; 17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel; 17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.
How exactly is the quran different from the bible again?????

Since when did the left care about religious liberty - or really "liberty" of any kind?

Reasonable people hate people who blow themselves up and kill dozens of other people without justification. The USA should just ban all religion as it's fuking retarded given that we are in the 21st century. Only absolute morons believe in sky fairies, there is no reason we should have to defend idiotic and dangerous beliefs.
