Haven't been inside the GTO, but as a response to your post earlier about interior. yeah, it would be dumb to pick a performance car based of interior, but IMO interior is fairly important, as I enjoy driving, and make long trips often. Also gotta have at least a nicer interior than my gf's car, or else I get cucked by said vehicle. Trading a bit of performance for comfort isn't such a bad thing.

Also what J1n said about the association with ford focus...i and many others I know see it quite literally as your typical street racer's foot in the door

And ultimately, I have never owned a 200+hp car. so really you could give me a fkn Juke RS with some options and it will feel like a performance upgrade.

She used to be into cars when she was younger and i was talking to her about cars i was interested in. i mentioned the Focus and shes like wtf... a focus... im like yeah.. the rs, you aware? then she says, well... even if its sick... its still a focus. then i realized id be associated with the plebs that drive a brand new $12k focus.

i missed the kellybeans saga but im glad i was here for the HM9 trainwreck.
She isn't really into cars if she said that about the RS. That's something a teenager would say. The Neon SRT-4 could smoke quite a few cars in its day (still can), doesn't matter if it was a Neon.

Yeah, i would never get a Neon srt4. 1, its a neon, 2, that much power for a FWD car is stupid. and 3, its a neon.

btw my first car was a neon and it was a POS.

Also its true, even if you got a Focus RS, almost everyone would just see it as another Focus. only people like me and you would recognize it as a beast car.

didn't lexus have a huge safety recall or something a few years ago? or maybe their cars placed really low in safety ratings? I like the newer IS line even if it's a chick car....still undecided on the RC series.

yea there was a recall about 5-6 years ago on a bunch of toyotas vehicles (This includes lexus', lexus's, lexi???) for sticking gas pedals, and floor mat issues or something or other, but i think they were found out to be user error in the end.

oh yeah i remember this. it was the floor-mat that was pushing down the accelerator. Some did it on purpose though to sue Toyota, some just were old people that ran into things and blamed it on the issue when it was user error. They did fix the floormat thing though with a recall for certain models.

ah that's right lol. Everyone who drove a toyota was so scared for like 2 weeks until it came out that it was user error, and not a electrical/mechanical problem.

unaware on how a floormat could cause a gas pedal to stick? unless the floormat is completely over the pedal, and you're a Maxx follower who just watched his newest vid on how to pedal to the metal
