Pretty much. Let me show off my car. Everyone's staring at me b/c of my shiny new expensive car. All those b*tches be mirin me & my awesomeness.

No, twat. I'm staring b/c you obviously don't know how to drive the damned thing & almost ran it into the gas pump ... twice ... RIP shiny new plaything.
Sali gon hate. How ever i feel like people who buy aston martin dont know about cars but just want something expensive, recognizable but different than everyone else. brb tryting to be edgy let me get a db9 herp derp. should have just got a ****in 458 brah.

Theres also something to be said for people who just go out and buy the latest and greatest, that just screames im buying this car because i want to look cool. If i see someone coming up in a vintage classic like a testarosa or a fukin diablo vs some dude in a brand new car im gonna prob give more respect to the guy with the classic who knew what he wanted and wanted that aprticular car not just what ever was new and said lambo/ferarri on it

I don't care what you get. But be able to drive the damned thing.

& FTR, I usually prefer the older "classic/vintage/antique" cars over the modern versions of any of those darned things.

D'oh! I forgot about that one, lol. Yeah, maybe those two should get together.

The guy I was referring to (driving his ferrari) was trying to rub off scuffmarks for several minutes before he finally drove off.

Just like Kim Kardashian and Kanye are most definitely MENSA certified. It's like one of those situations where you'll notice the super intellectual egg heads have no common sense to operate in the real world. They may not be stupid in all avenues of their life but I would think you'd take the time to learn manual...and if you've got THAT much money, personally I"d rent out Texas motor speedway all the time and really get to use my super car...but that's just me.

*full disclosure* still learning manual on BF's 83 toyota truck, lmao. He won't let me touch his 94 4runner

oh SPEAKING of people that need cardio.....i would greatly appreciate your advice on a novice lifting split for an overweight man....of a mere 30 years. Like I was telling him I'd do like a 3 day a week 5/5 to start off with cardio two-three other days a week...is that bad advice?

im assuming you know this person, so you probably know what they like and what motivates them etc. i think alot of people get intimated by everyone telling them to do squats and dls etc. i would just try and focus on getting him into the gym, or running, or martial arts etc. and let him figure out what he wants to do.

Itll be more beneficial if he is on some kind of structured routine obvi, but in the end what matters is that he sticks with it and if that means he just hits chest, bis, and traps, and abs (lets be real thats all that matters for 95% of people), cause thats what he likes..well its still better than doing couch sits and having walking to the mailbox be the extent of his cardio, nom sayin. so id say if you want him to do 5x5 on 3 days a week thats fine, if hell do it, and he can do cardio every day, hell i dont log it but i walk at least 2 miles everyday with the pup when i wake up cause id rather have a healthy heart than worry about 200 calories worth of walking sapping my gains.

just remember tho if you think someone who never lifted is gonna go in and be gung-ho to do squats or some **** **** like lunges or sumo deadlifts (lunges are goat but referring to most male population here), your gonna have a rude awakening when he wants to bench instead.

yes i'm talking about my BF....I want him to get on a legit program but deep down inside know you're right...so cardio and bench press it is. When he did workout that's like all he'd do..besides he did have to have two knee surgeries (got hit by a drunk driver on a bike)...so squats are not in his future anytime soon.

I've been trying to carve out some tme on the weekends so we could clean out the garage area and set up our super ****ty bench with the few weights we have hanging around.

the most important part of it is that he finds something he likes doing. lifting weights isnt always fun and it isnt always motivating. if hes not motivated to do it while hes making all kinds of noob gains then hes sure as **** not gonna want to do it when he hits his first plateau, but if he likes it then great, find ways to keep him interested buy him a shaker, workout shoes, or a new supplement here or there, something hell want to try out, but the only way to use it is by excercising. when i get low on motivation i usually browse bb.com or find some kind of new prework out cause then im excited to try the new supp, even if i dont want to lift, im not gonna take the pre and sit at home watching tv. so i get to try the pre and then ill go to the gym.

I think alot of women can relate to this with clothing. you go get a new pair of lulu lemons but you arent about to wear those to work so you make time to hit the gym so you can show them off.
Do they even make supra's or some next gen version of it?

It's okay I was a fan of the eclipse too!!! remember those Eagle Talons? I kind of hate when car companies essentially make the same car under two different brands (Isuzu rodeo and , and the other one , I forgot).
I believe the FT86 was supposed to be the next Supra, but then they had the great idea to 99% dilute it and make the BR-Z and FR-S as well, so that plan went down the pooper
gtfo subaru didnt get cool until the release of the 06/07 the bug eyes werent even that cool, they only became cool after the 06/07 STI's came out and everyone hopped on the suby plan. before that they were just grocery getters for people who lived in the middle of no where. 15 years ago cdub would have bought a subaru instead of his F150 to haul his ass up that gravel road into the mountains where he sleeps. (would have said where he lives, but lettuce be realty how much livin can you do if ups charges a specific off the grid fee to deliver you a package)

Rx7 and supra were always cool. So was the Z car line. they were sports cars.

My lil bro when the ricer route, he had an rx-8 which is now nicley tucked away in my pops garage for ever abandoned when bro joined the army, and now bro drives an s2k. I looked at rx-7's when i got my first car but they didnt have many creature conforts and they were all coming up on needing alot of work, so i bought a mustang GT, didnt regret it at all the entire time i had it.
can confirm hhhnngg @ rx7, rx8, supra, entire z line, s2k, and WRX/STI. can also confirm that before WRX/STI, Subaru's were used exclusively for camping/road trips

This reminds me of the time my uncle backed his Aston into my VW. He also did not know how to drive stick.
Yea i remember the eagle talons, the fuk you talking about remember them, senior citizen. Im only 25 it wasnt that long ago my buds were dribing those thing as first cars lol.

and no id ont think they make anything that is intended to be a supra anymore. there have been rumors of one but its going to be like the NSX way over priced. Theyre going to ruin it by doing that brb this is my 200k toyota herp derp. if they do like Nissan did, and come out with something that blows the doors off of damned near everything else under 500k (GTR) and only costs about 80 they're gonna be in a good place. I have to believe the gtr has a terrible resale tho cause i see those things everywhere now. probably 4-5 days a week i see one cruising around and im sure a bunch of them are pre owned.
I believe GT-R's don't actually have that bad of resale value, and considering they started at $70k MSRP back in 2007, doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to afford a pre-owned model if you make decent money.

have actually been looking at used GT-R's for my next car, R35 or newer

not srs...though I wish I was
