Summer is the most boring part of the year for me...
brb work full-time
brb use most of my free time lifting and studying
brb have 10% as many friends at home compared to at school
brb got laid exactly one time the whole time I've been home
brb most of the time "going out" for me means smoking/playing drinking games with 5-10 guy friends

OP, they're not as cool as you think looking from the outside. You're just about the age where it starts getting sad, too. The old 'party king' who pretty much slayed all the sloots is still hitting people up saying his parents are out of town and hes throwing a rager(the guy is 27) and each year the crowd gets younger and he grows older.

I'm 25, close to 26, and I didn't party from 18 to 22 which was prime. I tried to play catch up, and after about 4 years, now I'm done with it. These days I'm having more fun having quiet evenings with good food, good sleep for optimal gains. Then b-ball with the boys at the gym no sloot drama. I cut ties from all the girls who for whatever reason I thought was important to keep hanging with. Turned out they were all two-faced feminists who based their self worth on how little animal products they ate despite the sausages they gobbled down every night without complaint.

Go explore, hike, sports, meet a cute girl somewhere else. Srs I wasted so much time with this bs lol. Inb4 cope but its the truth. But, you're welcome to show up to the clubs, show up to the house parties, then wake up one day realizing you'd aged ten years in only two years due to the hard life you led just to live it up and chase a mythical Chad fantasy that only 1% of males even experience.

I have accepted that my time for that is over, but there are always socially acceptable events to be at whatever age you are. And people still go to clubs in their 30s, but its not my thing.

I am upset that almost all people don't pay attention to me, or want to be with me.

this. it's easier to think everyone is having a good time/better time than you

I am 26 and mostly over the party scene. a good hike/activity is better than clubs/house parties with losers

I got hammered this past weekend, and was so hungover I lost like 3 pounds. even by weds I couldn't hit the gym full steam. then I remembered why that lifestyle ain't so great


you guys are gonna make it. watch a new show and get addicted. read a self improvement book. call your grandparents and say whats up

or just order some textbooks/find some online pdf's and study something you're interested in. go on MIT opencoureware and try to follow a course start to finish, with tests.

If I look back there were countless parties, girls, crazy times during the summer. I can truly say we had an way above average social life back then. I always had something to do every night of the week.


It all changes though and slows down. I am 31 now and its almost a complete 180 from when I was 21.
Now we all go to bed at a reasonable hour for work and either are married or have kids and other responsibilities. I only see my buddies on rare occasions now and most of the time I focus on myself and my family.
