Satiation on keto is GOAT. Obviously it's cal in/out but once you're adapted you can eat way less and still feel great. Went from 18-20% bf (avi) to 12ish% in a few months and have stayed there since. I could go lower but I'm comfortable at this weight, especially since it's winter here.
For people feeling crap on keto and have actually stuck to it for longer than a week, you're probably doing one of these:
- Not eating enough fat.
- Not getting enough salt (this is a huge one, the ketogenic diet is natriuretic. Sodium is constantly pissed out. If you're not putting a bit of salt on practically every meal you're going to feel like chit. Eventually your kidneys will excrete potassium to preserve sodium and you're going to feel even worse.)
- Not drinking enough water.

lol at those who don't do IF+keto/carb cycling. I legit went from 10% bf to about 8% bf in two days.Works every time, being doing it for 2 years now.
Stay lean year round(10-11%bf)
Then when summer hits it will only take 4 days tops to get shredded.

Completely different animals dude
Carb cycling > IF > Keto
There are variations of each. Keto is keto which is why it sucks. You can carb cycle on its own, do IF on it's own, carb-cycle with IF, and then there's just straight step down dieting.

What I do stay 10-11% bf is just do IF and a bit of carb cycling here and there with cardio 2-3 times a week.
If I want to get shredded quick then I implement keto. If you stay lean year round like I do it's easy.
Day 1 30-50g carbs 1.5 gallons of water, cardio
Day 2- same
Day 3- flat but more ripped, CARB UP day
Day 4- full and shredded about 8%bf

Currently on IF and keto. (50 carbs or less per day)
Day 15 here, so far so good.

Ultimately cals in vs cals out is what matters, however different diets have their own place.
would never do keto, but i would probably put someone who was obese on it. Someone with more self control can just track macros/calories and be fine but ones who have trouble are better off doing it this way IMO

top kek @ all the effeminate beta cucks that are so emotionally attached to their carbs. Your ancestors almost never had carbs and climbed mountains hunting saber tooth tigers all day. Grains/bread were not in the diet. Fruit was rare to come by. That was it. Then these pussies go a few days without carbs and start crying about it. Hilarious

ever tell a fat woman "calories in < calories out" and told her to go with it?
yeah good luck there.
That's one part of the equation. The second part is WHAT calories you eat, as they all incur different hormonal responses that can make dieting easier or harder.
For many (esp the obese) keto is great. These are the types that simply can't count their calories. It helps with insulin insensitivity and keeps hunger away.
For the leaner or high activity types - moderate carb diets are best.
For EVERYONE, IF and limiting sugar is necessary. Keeps insulin from bouncing around all day (and stopping fat burning) and avoiding overeating.
everything's at bodyrecomposition.com. Keto is great for many, some can't do it and moderate carbs is better. Up to you.

Keto diet crew, recent inductee.
Been about 2.5 weeks so far. I feel great. Energy levels same, if not better. Don't get tired as early in the evening as I used to, actually. I do get random, sometimes intense, cravings for any sort of carbs though.
