I grew up with a couple guys who became cops and they're absolutely batchit insane. Racist as fuk and proud of it. One of them hit multiple girlfriends.

The problem is they WANT these type of meatheads. I can understand not wanting a guy w genius level IQ, but there has to be a compromise.

Most older cops I've come across have such a better attitude. Seem to be reasonable people who use their brain. Some of the young cops literally can't wait til they can fire their gun

I dont really honestly care anymore.

They have payed this same tune way too much for me to even try.

what do you think he did in those seconds in-between him with his hands up trying to get the cop not to kill his patient and them handcuffing him while he was shot that makes you want to put quotations around innocent?

side question why not quotations around people too? nice little dog whistle to your side

Did I miss something? I think the real question is, why did the cops draw guns (even an assault rifle) on the guy in the first place? What did he do that exhibits breaking the law?

Thats a good question. My first thought is that they were unable to identify what the autistic guy had in his hand. Second, they had to somehow figure out if he was or was not an actual threat to others or himself. More extreme forms of autism can be difficult to identify to someone is not a psychologist. PD arrive on scene and must assess what they have.

That said, I am still not taking sides on this just yet. Yes, it looks bad for the police, however, as mentioned earlier, we don't have a full video of the actual shooting.

I've already said this once. Your local news isn't going to show someone getting shot on TV. That clip is from a local new channel. We're going to have to wait until the raw footage comes out on live leak.

So you're telling me that something MUST be on video in order to prove someone did nothing wrong? At what point did you come up with the idea that something so goddamn stupid would make sense? It couldn't POSSIBLY be that the people filming moved, that maybe one of their phones died, that maybe one of them made a call to report what they were seeing, that a thousand other things happened. No, they intentionally hid the fact that the guy (who had no idea the filmers were there) somehow went from laying flat on his back with his hands in the air and telling the police about the autistic kid to a magical threat in a split second. And in that split second, he gets shot in the leg (not center mass but the goddamn leg) and the police think the threat is neutralized after shooting him in the leg, which happens to be the complete opposite of any department protocol (to shoot someone in the leg to stop a threat) and then they walk around casually as he lays there bleeding.

The autistic kid was wandering the street and someone called the cops because they though the toy truck in his hand was a gun.

So I'm guessing the behavioral therapist came to the scene trying to reach out and aware the cops, but the cops told him to get on the ground (with hands up). When he did that, the cops should of then moved in slowly to detain them and got his ID. Yeah I don't know where these cop defenders are coming from lol

IYO what do you think could have happened in that time period of missing footage that would warrant him getting shot....and whatever he did that deserved getting shot, wouldn't you think he'd be in jail or still handcuffed if the cops thought he was dangerous or a threat?

assuming that cops are always the innocent party in these situations is just as ignorant as assuming they're always the bad guy.

One last time and then I'm done with you. Your brain capacity is so low that you can't understand simple logic. I'll use numbered bullet points because it's the only way your tiny IQ can comprehend anything. After I write this post, you'll ignore everything I say and if you respond, it'll be another stupid statement just like all your previous statements.

1) The video isn't biased. Videos don't have feelings. Please learn the definition of the word biased. Thank you.

2) I'm not telling you what happened. I'm telling you what people with guns and training do (police officers) in situations where there is a threat.

3) When there is a threat, you don't shoot someone in the leg and then casually walk around afterwards when they get cuffed. No department policy would ever, EVER train ANYONE to do such a thing. This is the part that I'm hoping goes through your thick skull but I think the chances are .00005%

4) You. YOU made the claim that the video must be complete in order to prove no wrong doing. That's exactly the same as saying the video must be complete to show someone (police officers) are innocent. You can't make completely and 100% retarded claims and then expect anyone to think you're anything other than retarded. Stupid doesn't begin to explain this lack of logic. A video and its completeness doesn't prove or disprove anything.

5) You still haven't said what would justify shooting someone in the leg after he's laying on the ground with his hands up explaining to the officers about the autistic kid. On top of that, assuming he did become a threat, why was he shot in the leg, why did the officers walk around casually, why is he in a hospital bed speaking to the press instead of in jail because he's a threat?

^---All the above things are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY above your intellect so I don't expect your tiny brain to comprehend any of it. In for more logical fallacy responses from you.
