Terrible evidence. People underestimate how extraordinary the claim that alien species have visited us really is. It is a statistical guarantee that life outside of us exists. It is obviously rare, but it exists. It is very unlikely that any other form of intelligent life exists in this galaxy, but it almost surely exists in others. The problem however is that:

1. There is no way for them to get here. Our current (and extremely well verified) model of the universe makes interstellar travel extremely unfriendly, and intergalactic travel a fantasy.

2. There is no reason for them to come here. Even trying not to project our own human rationality onto another form of life, any justification for their arrival still seems extremely far-fetched for any life form, just from an evolutionary perspective.

Usually, the outcome that requires the fewest assumptions for it to have occurred is the correct one. Alien visitors requires quite a few extraordinary assumptions.

according to humans there isn't but lets face it our technology isn't even advanced. Your cellphone processor is million times faster than processor they used in Apollo 13. We're far behind and trying to understand something that's 10000 years ahead of you is not doable.

May be they're trying to figure out how to combine their mind with ours so they can have powerful brain or may be they're weak (physically) and trying to figure out how to become stronger like us or hell, may be they're trying to steal our cells that can be used to cure some disease they have.

there are millions other reason why they would want to come to Earth.

Human species is very young compare to the age of the Universe.

She was shown a star map on what, a piece of paper? Seems a very 1960's-esque alien.

We're digital as fuk yet have nowhere near the ability to travel billions of miles and abduct someone. Surely she'd have described all the high tech stuff she saw, not a fking atlas he pulled off his bookcase.

Makes no sense that of all the billions of stars and galaxies out there, we're the only dumbasses around. No one has visited us openly because we're too primitive. People want to believe that we're so damn smart and rulers of the galaxy. Easy enough to keep most of the world away from the truth since everyone is too busy watching the lardasssians and buying I-Phones.

It is also the height of hubris to assume that other intelligent life must have visited us, or is even aware of us, just because we exist.

srs Friday night I had been getting yucky with the boys and I took an uber home a little before 4am. I got out of the car and the next thing I remember I'm standing in my apartment and it's light out. I'm looking around trying to figure out wtf I've been doing for the past couple hours. TV wasn't on, I was still dressed, bed wasn't a mess, I was just standing there and I came to. Was it aliens brah?

First Lieutenant Felix Eugene Moncla, Jr. (October 21, 1926 presumably died November 23, 1953) was a United States Air Force pilot who mysteriously disappeared while performing an air defense intercept over Lake Superior in 1953. This is sometimes known as The Kinross Incident, after Kinross Air Force Base, where Moncla was on temporary assignment when he disappeared.

The U.S. Air Force reported that Moncla had crashed and that the object of the intercept was a Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft. According to the report, the pilot of the Canadian aircraft was later contacted and reported that he did not see the F-89 and did not know that he was the subject of an interception.
I once saw a documentary where after the 1947 Roswell incident, all of these people started coming out claiming they've seen aliens or were abducted. Literally all of them were claiming the aliens were from Mars or other worlds which were then later proven to be inhabitable.

In short, some people do see the unexplained but there are pranks and crazies everywhere, and many of these cases (if not all) have been proven hoaxes.

Um, if she saw all that high tech stuff, she wouldn't know what it is and so couldn't be manipulated by it. You're assuming that these are actually aliens and not interdimensional beings that have been with us for thousands of years.

Muslims call them jinn, Christians call them demons, sometimes they appear as gods, whatever the person they're trying to manipulate will understand them as.
