You just have to choose the best of two evils to help limit the future problems and headaches. Voting for Johnson won't solve anything and will just be another vote for Hillary.
Not a good outlook and it sucks but it's true.

"Johnson advocates for a free market with small government and limited regulation. He favors tax reform that would create a single consumption tax that is the same rate for all goods and all purchasers. Basic necessities would be covered by a prebate a monthly payment given to every taxpaying household by the government."
This is the only part of his platform I can't stand behind. I think Wall Street needs to be monitored intensely, especially after watching The Big Short. They literally don't give a phuck.

Read an article in Forbes where Johnson admitted the only way he could win is by a loophole that the House of Representatives gets to elect the president.

Gary "Bake the ****ing cake Jew" Johnson:
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/ga...rticle/2598088
In a year when conservatives are being turned off by Donald Trump, do you worry that you're turning off conservatives who might come to the Libertarian Party?
"It's the right message, and I'm sideways with the Libertarian Party on this. My crystal ball is that you are going to get discriminated against by somebody because it's against their religion. Somehow you have offended their religion because you've walked in and you're denied service. You."
Discrimination. Yes."
In all cases?
"Yes, yes, in all cases. Yes. And you're using an example that seems to go outside the bounds of common sense. But man, now you're back to public policy. And it's kind of like the death penalty. Do I favor the death penalty. Theoretically I do, but when you realize that there's a 4 percent error rate, you end up putting guilty people to death. I think this is analogous to hate crime. Convict me on the act of throwing a rock through somebody's window. But if you're going to convict me on my motivation for doing that, now you're back to religious freedom. I mean under the guise of religious freedom, anybody can do anything. Back to Mormonism. Why shouldn't somebody be able to shoot somebody else because their freedom of religion says that God has spoken to them and that they can shoot somebody dead."
That doesn't seem like the distinction that a libertarian typically makes. Shooting is an initiation of force, versus deciding what ceremonies to participate in.
"Well, they bring out this issue, which I realize it has happened. But the objective here is to say that discrimination is not allowed for by business ..."
"I just see religious freedom, as a category, of just being a black hole."
B-but Trump is going to ruin America by not bringing in hundreds of thousands of low IQ islamists, uhg he's so anti-liberty!!!!
"What's that Ezra? Neo Nazi Mike wants you to bake him a swastika cake? GET THE **** ON IT YOU JEW"
"Oh what's that Christian baker, you don't want to bake a cake of two men sodomizing each other with the bible? PAY THIS FINE OR GET BEHIND THESE BARS"

As a rule, that's true, but this election is like none before it and all the old rules don't apply, which is why Trump is the GOP candidate, another "impossible" event people claimed when all this began. Again, I have laid out the chain of events that need to happen for GJ to have a legit shot at it, and the numbers that exist support it. The very reason we have Trump is no one thought it possible, assumed he'd burn out once the "real" candidates started their push, and by the time they realized Trump was not going away, it was too late. Hence, he's living proof this is not like other elections and there's more potential surprises to come.
No thanx Jeff. Not quite ready to hold my nose and jump on the Dump train just yet while this is in play with GJ. The numbers show us if those in the polls who are unhappy with their choices voted for GJ, he'd win easily. But, when people continue to say it cant happen, that's self fulfilling prophecy.
If you genuinly think Trump is the right choice for the nation (HC is obviously not even worth a mention here) than vote for him.

Obviously this is why Bernie didn't run, because he might have scored 2-4 states and then it would be down to Paul Ryan to chose Mitt to be the next president.

Ideally, Romney would support GJ. This would make GJ poll higher and get in the debates while locking up Utah.
As GJ gets more exposure, he may win more states as he is seen as a viable option. More republicans/dems endorse GJ.
Election day, no candidate gets 270 and it goes to the house.
What a time to be alive!

Here's a good run down of GJ basic policy positions as well as Stein. Everything I read on JG I was in agreement with. Stein, not so much.
"But but dem open borders" seems the mantra of those who parrot what they read and really have no clue what GJ actual policies are, which are not open borders. Again, we was two time and popular Gov of aborderstate and obviously has more real world experience with that issue than anyone running by far.
Thinking of voting for Jill Stein or Gary Johnson? Here are their policy positions
From guns to education, etc major policies covered.

In his own words on how he'd approach the border issue:
Source and more info:
https://alibertarianfuture.com/2016-...-this-country/
Would be a huge improvement over our current approach and only a few derpa derps actually think a wall will go up and 11 million people deported.

Interesting article in Forbs. Interesting times at least! It's a fascinating possibility that would turn modern politics on its head and truly change the two party stranglehold on the system:
How Libertarian Gary Johnson Could Make This The Weirdest Presidential Election Ever
"The key, according to Lizza is for Johnson/Weld ticket to start polling at around 15 percent, the threshold for being included in national debates with Clinton and Trump.
The interesting, and potentially scary part, is what happens if Johnson’s campaign does get some traction. (Unlike previous third-party Presidential contenders like Ross Perot and John Anderson, Johnson, with his Libertarian party backing, doesn’t have to fight for ballot access.)
Johnson admitted to Lizza that he has chance to win the popular vote, or the electoral vote. His best chance, as he sees it, is to take advantage of an arcane, but potentially huge loophole in electoral law, which would allow Congress to choose the next President and Vice-President."

He wants to grant amnesty to current illegals and make it easier to give out work visas. Like that would solve the issue when we already have a large amount illegals overstaying their visas.
People don't seem to realize that giving illegals any amnesty or benefit undermines the efforts of people trying to immigrate LEGALLY. But nobody cares about them of course. Tons of people with better qualifications than the illegals get rejected, but yet we want to reward the rulebreakers. Typical cucked society. You can see this change in society in other things, like the increased blaming of the victims instead of the criminals.
Or complaining about how a criminal who committed heinous acts is being treated poorly. Zero regard for the victims. Funny how the more advanced a society gets, the more it reverts back to a depraved state, albeit a more passive version.

Johnson, like any POTUS, does not wave magic wands and get huge walls built nor open borders, etc. Obama couldn't even get Gitmo closed, which was a central theme of his claims he's achieve as POTUS.

A vote for Johnson is a vote for Hillary unfortunately at least for this election.
This time, it won't really matter. Hillary or Trump, it's a terrible decision either way. Vote 3rd party just for the sake of getting Democrats and Republicans to realize that there is a growing part of the population who no longer finds themselves aligned with either party and force them to pander to us instead.

Libertarianism has value in some policy, but lmao at real libertarianism.

I think many people who are not libertarian, both on the left and the right, would agree.

I'm not one to be a one-issue voter, unless it's incredibly significant, but Johnson is a fuking moron.
His support, and plan, to increase private prisons is so inherently, morally, and logically wrong, that I cannot trust anything else that comes out of his mind. Such backward logic.
No Republican or Democrat should support increasing private prisons, nor support their continuing usage.
As a republican:They eat away at tax dollars and do nothing but make the owners rich, while completely subverting the justice system, and making it into nothing more than a cash cow. Where inherently minor crimes are treated with such punishment to warrant increased prison time, that eventually means more tax dollars going to the way of prison owners.
As a democrat:They do nothing to rehabilitate inmates, and have been shown to simply erode any possibility of rehabilitation, while ensuring an increased life of crime. Those found guilty of inherently minor crimes become career criminals as they become lost in the system.
