Sold a TLR1 today and told the guy to bring batteries if he wanted to function check it... (I confirmed the light worked yesterday).

He shows up and puts the batteries in and nothing. Told him I tested it yesterday and it was prob his batteries.

He said it was fine and took it.

Probably put them in backwards or they were dead but I bet he's sweating bullets on his ride home thinking what an idiot he is for buying a light that doesn't work.

I've done stuff like this a few times. A little more fun than shooting paper. Blowed up an old server, stereo system, fax machine, printer, and various toys and whatnot. Good times.

Alcohol is alcohol, man. Ethanol. It's the same in every hard drink. Unless you have a specific allergy like gluten intolerance or some chit, they're all pretty much the same. High sugar drinks can make it worse since it has a lot of similar effects though.

Nothing to it. I used Rustoleum Universal and just stuffed some cotton balls in the barrel and magwell. Came out pretty good I think.

I like the Glock 19. The XDM feels kinda thick to me to carry.

I carry a M&P Shield 9mm with night sights and love it. Highly recommend a CrossBreed Holster for whatever gun you choose.

The 19 is a great pistol. Imo the 17 is more aesthetic doe.

I say buy both, carry the 19 and practice with the 17. I literally can not tell the difference in handling.

Yes, ethanol is ethanol. However, the other 50-70% of other compounds that make alcohols (even different brands of the same "type") different and unique can affect every person differently.
