Been to a lot of concerts and festivals, everything from indie and alternative rock to metal to many types of EDM. Up until last weekend the best shows I've seen were MUSE 8 or so years ago and Netsky live (as in live drums, live synth, live vocals).

But then last weekend I saw Deadmau5 vs. Eric Prydz live at Tomorrowland and it was a magical experience, seriously the most amazing moment of my life. They put together their entire set on the spot and it was mindblowing.

Korn when they opened for Slipknot on the Welcome to Hell tour w/ Slipknot

Fuking tore the house down and never seen them or anyone else put on a performance as good as they did.

Second would have to be any of the 4 times I've seen Metallica.

fck yeah, korn was pretty badass. They played at a small place in Central Texas in 2009, really surprised me how much passion Jonathan Davis brings, he even played a bagpipe solo. I want to see them again since they've put out some great albums since 09

They do put on a great show. I've seen them twice. Once at Family Values 2006. And once at Mayhem Fest in 2014.

Tool in 2008 was probs the best musical experience. Haven't been to a gig since like 2011 though. Taste has changed quite a bit since then, too.
always wanted to see them live. Ever since that xXx movie where they were playing feuer frei. looks awesome

Welp at the Guns N Roses concert last night some lady sitting behind me through up on my arm lol. I was jamming and all of a sudden I smelled garlic and thought someone spilled something on me. The lady left and the person next to me got it worse, throw up all over their back. GNR came out at 10 after an hour long stage switch from the cult to them, cool concert though-AXL cant quite move like he used to but he tries at least and brings energy.

I've never really listened to them to be honest, I couldn't name a song if I had to. Ill have to check them out, there has to be a reason they are so popular.

Coming back to this thread.

I saw Shinedown and Halestorm last night, and holy fuk was it a good show. Shinedown was especially amazing live. Lzzy Hales sounds CD quality live as well, and her voice is earth shattering. Overall insane concert and goes up to my top 3 for sure.

KISS with Alice in Chains as the opening act. It was the first time the original 4 were together in a long time and the atmosphere was electric. I was not a huge Kiss fan but the aura and excitement of the event was awesome.

Best of all time was Joe Satriani as the headliner, w/ Dream Theater playing before him. there was some noob band before them, but i don't remember who that was.

Hm...tough I might have to give the nod to Rammstein at Tinderbox a month ago. Though psychostick shows are pretty awesome too. Runner ups... swedish house mafia at UMF, iron maiden at ozzfest, any show with Refused, the bloody beetroots.

Tragically Hip - 2014 at Canalside in Buffalo. Actually got two shows because the first night it rained half way thru the set. They tried playing thru it but their electronics shut off so Gord Downie and his guitarist went on stage and did an acoustic version of fiddlers green. About 2 weeks later they came back and played after Flogging Molly (which was fun a phuck). Played for about 2 hours and it started to rain again at the end. It pains me that I will never get to see the Hip play ever again.
