No I just put a little on my finger and rub it onto face. Easy stuff, no smell, dries quickly... wayy better than that "natural" garbage on amazon.

There's a lot of crappy/fake black soap out there so the key is to find a legit product and also how to use it. This is what I use and I've used a **** ton of their products btw and love them all.http://www.sheaterraorganics.com/100...oap_p_351.htmlIt's a powder. I use it every night. I put about half a teaspoon, probably less in my hand, and add only several drops of water and form it into a paste. Then apply it to your face or body and lather it up, wet your hands a bit if it doesn't lather. Ive had a jar of this for like 6 months now and Im just over half way thru, use it every night and leave it on my face for 10-20 minutes or longer. But test it out bc it could be intense and burn sensitive skin. After a few weeks of using this my nose started too peel and it started to remove dead skin. It's never bothered my skin except a slight burning from time to time. Just don't get it in your eyes.

Dang gonna post for once instead of lurking because.....

*Don't* use coconut oil on your face especially if you already suffer from active acne. Coconut is comedogenic (clogs pores.) it's great for hair though.

It was working for me for a few days, my skin probably just liked the moisture. After that I started breaking out like hell.

If anyone is going to use oil on their face you must try to find a oil that matches skin's natural oil the best. Jojoba oil is excellent and also possesses anti bacterial properties.

I use AHA once a week for my old acne scars (not cystic just hyper pigmentation.) A exfoliating sponge and gentle cleanser to wash my face. And cetaphil moisturizer every night and day. I'm looking to transition to oils though.

Green smoothies everyday with a whole ,peel intact, lemon + ACV shot + spirulina helped me with actual acne breakouts (and digestion), exfoliation for blackheads though.

If there is havoc going on inside your body it will end up showing on the outside one way or another.

Washing your pillow cases + phones is a must too.

Last but not least a warm cum facial to open up your pores and detoxify.

Lol not srs.

I'll never understand the misc's obsession with "skin care routines". Y'all do realize that females find that extremely stupid right? I understand if its done to help with acne or if you're a model etc, but other than, i don't get it.

So there's an issue with wrinkle/line prevention and getting rid of acne scars?

lol I used to spend so much money on skin care products for my face for years dealing with acne. I used to follow so many different routines. One day I just went YOLO and decided to go with soap and water and just ignore any acne on face and completely out of my mind. Best decision of my life. My skin is almost always clear now with just soap and water once a day.

Strong reading comprehension. I said that if its done to help acne then thats fine. But if its done to prevent wrinkles.... lol. And every girl i personally know would say its a huge turnoff.

> Just wash my face in morning and evening (use plain bar soap).
> 3 or 4 out of 7 days I wear lotion. Often with SPF.
> Drink a lot of water
> Don't smoke
> Live in a cloudy city
> Wear a hat in the full sun and never intentionally tan face

People often comment on my nice skin and looking 5-10 years younger than my age

I used to buy all these products for my skin.

Eventually stopped and just used a clay mask once a week and sometimes natural aloe Vera. Since keeping it simple my face has cleared up. Just 0.02c

As such we suffer from all kinds of issues that most animals do not. Heart disease. Cancer. Immunity issues. Skin issues. Mostly because of this lack of vitamin C, our cells are in a constant state of low grade scurvy. This causes massive inflammation in our bodies and that is bad.

My twin brother had heart disease (heart attack, stents, 3 blockages in arteries) and it was completely reversed by a regiment of 15-20 grams of C per day, and about 8 grams of lysine and proline....amino acids. There is NO OTHER DRUG or therapy in the world that can presently do that. I started this 4 years ago and and have not been sick one day since, and my skin is amazing. Cannot recommend enough.

I get about 10 grams a day in pill asorbic acid C form, and the other 5-8 in the pre workouts and BCAA mix atwww.c-fitlife.com. 3 grams in each dose.
Dude, dude, please don't do this

"High doses of vitamin C have been associated with multiple adverse effects. These include blood clotting, death (heart-related), kidney stones, pro-oxidant effects, problems with the digestive system, and red blood cell destruction. In cases of toxicity due to massive ingestions of vitamin C, forced fluids, and diuresis may be beneficial."

I'm glad you asked! It's due to "pH sequencing" - meaning the sequence you apply to your face needs to match up with their preferred pH-active level. Like how retin-a doesn't do chit at a pH of 3, at that point its just pricey moisturizer.

The vitamin C serum can operate in a wide range of pH levels, but has its own optimum level (which is certainly above 3-3.3). So apply it and let it adjust your face's pH level. After 10 minutes, then use the chem exfolients - which essentially act as a pH bomb on your face. They're the point of no return - they'll lower your skin's pH to 3-3.3 (or so). At which point all of the other stuff you used may be less effective (in some cases only slightly so, but still).

Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

Possibly a stupid question, but...

Is it important to use sunscreen even during winter or on cloudy/overcast days?

Living in the UK we rarely see the sun

Direct sunlight = UVB rays, which are responsible for sunburns/tans.

90% of skin damage (and virtually all skin aging) is due to UVA radiation, essentially the solar radiation that the earth is covered in. It's penetrating your skin when your indoors, when it's winter, etc. The whole world is awash in it at any given time.

That's why physical zinc oxide sunscreens are so valuable - the protect the full range of uva spectrum. Yeah you gotta wear it all the time during the day.

Incidentally, UVA rays penetrate clouds with ease, so UK weather doesn't have an impact on the dosage your skin is subjected to.

Chemical exfolients (especially BHA) are a magic bullet against acne.

1) Go to dermatologist
2) Ask for prescription to Tretinoin cream (Vitamin A derivative >>Vitamin C serums, treats both acne and repairs damaged skin or hyper pigmentation, reverses sun damage, prevents wrinkles, cures aids)
3) Apply daily (You don't need AHA or BHA products because Tretinoin exfoilates you're skin)
4) Age like Leonardo Dicaprio

Also cold showers, sun screen and moisturize.
