I'm willing to consider trades, but no junk please. I'm looking for nice revolvers, tactical shotguns, or rifles. The pistol comes with a Springfield plastic case with a holster, mag holder, and two mags. The pistol is stock with adjustable rear sights and stock grips. Unknown round count if any. I bought it a year ago and it's been in the safe since then. By the look of the gun it's new. $750.00 obo."

I don't see anything about it having been bought used. That may be implied, but not explicitly stated.
Either way, looks like you gon died. Who tf would choose mimber over an SA RO?

Well thanks to those that helped with some advice, i went ahead and got the benelli supernova 12 gauge in camo. Bass pro shop had a sale which covered the tax, so i got about 60 bucks off. I played the wife a bit, was gonna get the mossberg 500, but i let her think she talked me into getting the supernova for $200 more.

I do a lot of deals on backpage, buying and selling. The only time I backed out of a deal is when this one guy asked me to bring all my firearms and any body armor I had for sale, and the meet was to take place close to 10pm in an abandoned parking lot. Weird is that I never mentioned I had body armor for sale, and I only was selling one firearm.

His story of time to meet up kept changing until it was close to 10pm.

SRS.

It was unreal.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

Kind of impulse bought a Bren 805 today. Dealer had one when I stopped by to see what they had and maybe get a Daniel Defense V11. Should I keep it? Flip it? Shoot it and check it out first?

if you don't know what to look for in a used car get a certified pre owned vehicle from a dealer. the warranty is typically better than a new cars warranty

They just started coming to the U.S. Was the rifle of the Czech army but they recently switched to the Bren 806. Very similar to a SCAR but the build quality is better. Very smooth action. All metal, almost no plastic anywhere. 223/5.56 adjustable gas system with a piston. Basically along the same lines of the ACR/SCAR/piston AR's.

I have a pretty solid idea of what I want. I just suck at haggling. I've never been much good at talking people down.
I've found a few trucks that I would be willing to pay sticker price for in cash, but I'd like to save as much as I can regardless.

Any dollars not spent on a truck is lead downrange.

Just set a couple of prices in your head - your walkaway, deal, and target price.
Don't tell them what you want to spend, just keep them going back and forth and telling them you don't like it. Be prepared to re-establish your target price if they beat your walkaway price on the first go-round because that means they still have room. They want to get you out of their hair and get on to the next sucker, go back and forth.
Stay stonefaced.
Walk away if they don't want to go down.

Hipster ****etz afraid of confrontation have ruined the haggling process because no one wants to be seen as hard-to-get-along-with. So you have to be super hard-nosed. Go on a saturday and waste the salesman's entire day. Scope out the lot and stay in your car pretending to play pokemen or whatever the kids play nowadays and wait for the most beta salesman to get close, then get out.

The trick is not to let them have you play the game on their terms.

Don't let them add on any dumb **** like loan insurance, either.

in for answers - looking at trucks right now

debating used vs new

that new car financing is soooo much better though and from the prices I'm seeing would make the more expensive new car be cheaper when you factor in finance rates for used cars
