Well guys I haven't been posting much lately, I've been sidetracked with home shopping. Actually put in an offer on a condo in Denver on Saturday and it was accepted yesterday afternoon. Nervous and anxious but hopeful that it was the right decision. My rent was getting ridiculous and my mortgage will actually be almost $500 less monthly.

In other news, going to a two day pistol/carbine class this weekend in Colorado Springs with Kenaz tactical group.https://www.ktgfirearms.com/event/in...stance_id=1638
There might even be some spots left if any of you CO MFCers want to join in.

Just bought a ddm4 v5. Picked up a couple extra clips and about 1500 rounds of ammo. First rifle purchase. Looking to get sone flip up sights and curious what you guys prefer? Mbus, troy or diamondhead.

Thanks

Man I got so many friends moving to Denver and it looks like they're living it up over there. And apparently very uptight white collar professionals turn into trafficking-level dreadlocked weed experts within a year of moving there. So ironic that they allow that but they think people shouldn't have guns. Or maybe that makes perfect sense now that I type that out.

Good choice, I have a V7 lightweight. Troy micros are best, then diamond head irons, then MBUS, then Diamondhead polys. Don't bother with full size Troys.

Also don't call them clips unless you're talking about stripper clips, and I don't think you are.

My sister just got hooked on Gavin McInness and has been watching his videos non-stop since yesterday. "He's able to articulate so well all the thoughts I have about modern feminism! I've been watching all his videos and the ones with Lauren Southern."
I drop to my knees before the weights. A single tear rolls down my cheek as I turn and look at myself in the mirror.
O, God, what have I done?

She just sent me this:

pinhooker,

This might be a made up memory in my head, but did you once post a link to a website that had schematics for building various furnitures with wood?

I'm going to buy either a table saw or miter saw soon to build a work bench, another bench to set up reloading equipment, then probably a good office/computer desk. I'm looking for a website in my bookmarks that had a bunch of plans/schematics on how to build various benches/furniture but I can't find it.

Idk... maybe it was someone else in here.

I sold out? I run nothing but DD/MBUS sights. Troy, even before the bullchit, was only known for their sights. That's all I said.

I give a fat rat's dead pussy at this point about any of that. I have several sets of Troys and one or two sets of Magpul Pros, and I like the Pros but prefer the Troys. I like both the Troy HK hood profiles and the diamonds. The MBUS Pros are a bit more trouble to peek through.

Plus the Troys came with these sweet ass zeroing targets

Found out my other weld test passed, so once I get my stencil and my first two welds out of the way they're gonna put me on 12" sch. 160 pipe, the wall thickness on that is 1-5/16". They figure two days per weld.

I love you.

One of the things that I was unaware of about the MBUS sights that came up during our course was that if you zero your BUIS for 25m, and are inside 25m attempting to shoot, you can rest the top of the FSP on the top of the aperture (not looking through the aperture, but over it) to account for barrel offset. I thought that was pretty cool.

Aware. The first plant I worked at (oil refinery) had a spec for all process piping to be sch160. So even piping to unpressurized schit, like 1" pipe for seal pots (even the the pots were welded sch40).
"Why in the fuk?!"
"They're worried an operator will step on it."
So they spent some insane amount of money on a special pipe bending machine to bend that **** up and took forever to weld it up. Looked picture perfect, too, just like in the drawing.
