My gf is gonna make butt loads in a year when she graduates, but I'm way too competitive and prideful to not be the breadwinner. I will work 100 hour weeks if that means I make may more than her. I know is chauvinistic and all that, but that's how I'm wired. I want her to not have to work after children unless she wants to. Its not me not wanting her to succeed, I would love for her to be the best at what she does and become the CFO of a Fortune 500 company and all that, but I just want to also do well(and by well I mean better). Competitive butthole. It is what it is.

Really doesnt bother me at all, unless she wanted to go out all the time knowing I cant spend much, then she ends up paying for everything. Makes me feel like a leech.
My last gf and current make a lot more than me and it doesnt bug them at all.

I hooked up with a girl who's dad is a billionaire (srs) once or twice and still friends with her. Shes fukking annoying as chit though, literally one ups every fukkin thing that you do. Anything you have, she has something better, anything you've done - she immediately says shes done more or whatever.

The general consensus is that the "breadwinner" is more likely to cheat. Scientists have done some research and have found statistically the opposite is true. If she makes more money then me, perfect. Means I found a motivated and ambitious woman.

I guess I'll keep licking windows because it's not even a close call. Not all nurses are just people who check your blood pressure at a walk-in clinic.

ER Nurses, Home Health Nurses, Long-Term Care Nurses (and I'm sure lots of other types of nurses) do difficult work that helps people and yes, can save lives. Ever heard of a Nurse Practitioner?

Well it depends on their situation. If it's cheaper or more efficient for them to have a man or woman stay home to take care of the house/kids while the other works, I don't see why that's unattractive. Women have been doing it for decades. Why can't men do it?

GF makes as much as me but she works less hours.

Hourly she makes more (roughly 34-37/hr) I am barely at 25/hr. Shes an RN, I am IT end user support.

Real tea though. Yes nurses can save lives, but I speak of their daily practices which is more routine and administrative. Been working with nurses for 10+ years.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with a stay at home dad. It works for many people.

Personally, I wouldn't be with such a person.
