I havent been in the situation so I can't say for sure. It seems the womans preference for the man to make more than her though. If she truly did not care than I would not either.
My perfect relationship would be if we both used our own money and just split all major things like rent, utilities, etc. Everything else buy our own chit. That will likely never happen though. Its just hard because I am cheap as fuk and most women arent. Even if I can afford it I never want a brand new car, huge house, etc and I can see a bish wanting those things.
I do hate the pat myself on the back attitude a lot of nurses have though. But its a female driven profession of course it will be that way. They are all special snowflakes

I want nothing more than to be a stay at home husband who hits the gyms in the afternoons and cooks dinner for the wife when she gets home.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I'm mind = blown that you wouldn't care the slightest about your girl earning $1.5 mill a year while you earn $50k? (For example).
Yeah who gives a chit if she makes 60k while you make 50k... But if she's literally a CEO of one of the top companies in the states, she'll be swimming in money. Anything you buy is worthless/doesn't matter unless it has great emotional value.
Would I break up with her? No.
Would I rather I made the millions while she made less? No doubt.
The only reason it's not a deal breaker for me, is because my future job makes sense, even though "I'm" a multi millionaire. Just lol at beta's who are fine with being a stay at home father.

Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

If anything they're more insecure about making more than the man. I couldn't give 2 fux if she's making more as long as she isn't a condescending dick about it
I was seeing a pharmacist for a couple months and the disparity between our salaries would often come up as a reason why she couldn't go further with me

In all honesty, sort of yeah. 99/100 I would prefer to make more than any girl I'm dating. I suppose the silver lining however is knowing she's probably not with you for your money.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

How many different institutions have you worked at in Canada? Is it fair to say you know the modus operandi at all the various facilities just because you worked at 1 or 2? Provincially, is where it varies more (like your state system does). But here, the provincial system is only responsible for those doing time less than two years or transitioning to the federal system (busted in court).
Also in addition...
The Canadian and American systems are VERY similar and the American system has adopted a lot of our practices and visa versa (use of force, programs, treatments, transition procedures, etc) But only those who work in the system have any idea of that.

Has never happened to me, but every girl I've asked has said salary didn't matter to them as long as the guy has a decent job. I believe they say that as to not look shallow and that it actually does affect their respect for you to some degree.

To be honest, no srs
I'm not insecure about materialism nor am I infected with the cancer called "status" that seems to be replicating within this world and society srs
If future wife, should I be married, has a higher income than me, then great, I will support her and less stress for me, considering she'd have effective financial management skills
Should my own income be higher, then I hope that the future female unit does not indulge in materialism or luxurious "goods" depending on my income bracket srs

My girl makes close to 60k more than me lol as a speech pathologist, Doesn't feel bad at all. I know a lot of guys who date girls who are in retail with no ambition, consider myself lucky actually.

Even though we have had a lot of social changes, the core principles of a male and female still thrive. The man has got to be the provider otherwise this really increases the chance of her slooting around and tbh it just feels so fukkin beta. The problem is bitches can get mad money by just using her female assets which is actually less-shameful these days thanks to the cancer we call society. So the male has got to step it up which leads to more tension and stress.

Whoever has the money kind of controls the relationship. Would feel kind of emasculating if she wanted to travel all the time and you couldn't afford to. That said I'd still welcome it with open arms.

It would for sure bother me. I'd feel emasculated. Then again, if she hates her job, but i love mine and have flexibility, I wouldn't feel i need to make more.
