i travel like 40+ weeks a year for work, only get home a few times a year, and usually its for holidays/etc so i go home to see family (which is where i keep my guns/do shooting), which happens to be a no suppressor state. meh, such is life

in other news, i have gotten all the components for an MK12 mod 1 build except the glass. kind of having second thoughts, everything is still new in box, so want to be 100% sure im into the build before assembling it and hurting resale. what say you guys?

Brb . . . Gadsden Flag may be racially triggering in workplace. Eastwood was right.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2016...al-harassment/

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is looking into whether wearing a depiction of the Gadsden flag to work should be considered racial harassment after a black employee at a privately owned business filed a complaint with the federal agency more than two years ago.

The complaint was filed by the black worker in January 2014 after he said one of his coworkers wore a hat depicting a coiled snake with the words โ€œdonโ€™t tread on meโ€ repeatedly since the fall of 2013. The complainant did not allege, however, that the employee wearing the hat ever said anything racist to him, the Daily Caller reported.

โ€œIt is clear that the Gadsden Flag originated in the Revolutionary War in a non-racial context,โ€ the agency stated in a preliminary ruling, according to the Washington Post. โ€œMoreover, it is clear that the flag and its slogan have been used to express various non-racial sentiments, such as when it is used in the modern Tea Party political movement, guns rights activism, patriotic displays and by the military.โ€

The agency went on to say, โ€œHowever, whatever the historic origins and meaning of the symbol, it also has since been sometimes interpreted to convey racially-tinged messages in some contexts,โ€ citing at least two more recent controversies over the flag. The first was that of two Las Vegas police officers whose bodies were draped with the yellow banner after their murders. The second was a incident in which New Haven, Connecticut, firefighters claimed the flag being displayed at work constituted racial insensitivity.

โ€œIn light of the ambiguity in the current meaning of this symbol, we find that Complainantโ€™s claim must be investigated to determine the specific context in which C1 displayed the symbol in the workplace,โ€ the EEOC concluded.

Good to know that if a couple people decide to randomly be offended by something it is now a racist/homophobic/whatever object.
People have literally made these same comments about the American flag.

I think I might just join the LDAR crew

Paging Farley.

If you were to get one of the Canik TP9s, what version would you get? I don't see ever needing the double action. I'm leaning toward TP9SF or TP9SA right now. Just found out Whittakers has some so I may go check them out this weekend. I doubt I ever carry it, but it will make a fun range toy or night stand gun. I can send the G17 off to be pimped out if I get another full size 9mm.

Multi-geared bikes that are remotely high quality will not break from normal use. If you're looking for a legit only single speed, then a freewheeling fixie is what you seek. How much money are you willing to spend on it?
