I can promise you that the show isn't staged or scripted. What the producers do is try to put you in situations where they think you might act a certain way....sort of a let a wolf be a wolf in the middle of a hen house type of thing. And they for sure edit the **** out of the talking head segments that they have. For example they might ask him "are you sure you would never kill a bunny". And his response might be "I might kill a bunny". And then they have him say that following a rampage or a certain act of his on screen. But as far as telling someone directly how to act? No.
With Chad, I think a couple things happened. First let me say that I have gotten to know him the past couple months and he seems like a very together, nice, good guy. Have never seen the side of him that came out the other night. He warned me after he taped that show that he acted pretty badly....so he knew. And yep, that was bad lol. I am sure he is not proud of it.
But I think one, he REALLY wants to be a star/reality phenom of some sort. He said in that segment that "he has nothing, this is all I have". To me that speaks volumes. I think he was really counting on using BiP as a stepping stone to bigger things, and so blowing up like that had to be a massive disappointment for him.
Two, he has created such a persona of "THE CHAD", that he probably felt more and more pressure to live up to that. Always upping the ante. Add in tons of alcohol (the bartenders should have cut him off but I am sure they were under orders to over serve him) and a crazy girl, and we get what we saw.
Three, as much as Chad comes across as a tough, macho guy, I think deep down he is really hurting and insecure. Not sure if that is the result of his parent dying or what has happened in his life....but he for sure has a ton of inner pain.
I believe Chad to be a good guy. I think over time, he hopefully comes to grips with the issues he faces and over comes them and achieves all of the success he hopes and wants.

I'm confused brahs. How did we go from Lace dripping wet for Chad, ready to hump him in the hot tub to them fighting/over. Felt like something was edited out. Did the show not allow them to go back to bang somewhere? Basically Lace and/or the show cockblocked Chad, kept feeding him drinks and waited for the inevitable implosion.
