Experiences will be super polarized. Either you get hardly any matches or you get lots.

Try restarting your account. About a month ago, my matches slowed to a crawl and only the ugliest and fattest girls were showing up. Then I restarted my account and I got about 30-40 matches in the first week after selective swiping. Not a lot by any means, especially compared to some of the guys here, but previously I was barely averaging at 1 match a day.

While this sounds correct in theory, I don't think that's how it actually works. The reality is that most desirable women (basically any woman who is above a 5) spend minimal time on dating apps, if they do at all. And any semi-attractive/charming guy that they meet in real life is going to have priority over some stranger on Tinder. Some of what you're saying is true, but it's getting overblown.

Speaking from personal experience, I have an easier time meeting women than ever before due to all these apps and social media, and I'm basically a 6 (maybe 6.5 at best) by real life standards. Then again, it could just be because I'm in my early 30s, which is more or less the peak for many guys in terms of desirability.

I would say that it's much harder to meet quality girls though.

I do agree that quality women aren't typically on these apps. And would respect a man that had the courage to approach her IRL. The funny part about that though is I've heard a few very pretty women saying that, but they do get approached regularly. They just don't count it because he wasn't cute lol

I have no issue pulling 2-3 dates a week with 5-7s. Then again I live in PA, when i'm walking around I see very few good looking men. I'm sure the competition in more metropolitan areas is much more steep.

I'm 100% average... and in a normal weekend I'd have 100+ matches if I was committed to it. I'm 41 and it'd go from 18-45 year olds... shrug. I'd generally swipe on 5+ ... Nothing special, so I'm not sure how these guys with jacked physiques are not matching with 70% of their swipes...

girl I lost my virginity to(off of tinder btw) texted me saying she didn't want to see me anymore because I wasn't "the one" lol. She slept with me on our first "date" and I would take her out to places just to make it seem like I wasn't only looking to smash. In the end I think she caught on. She was also 18 looking for the one.
