What subhuman gymcels are doing is masking their pathetic existence in compensatory muscle mass. If you are a baldcel/manlet/ugly/framecel, own that chit and fuk fat ugly ethnic women, its the only thing you are entitled to given your looks threshold. Just realize you will still be a loser from birth, but that's okay, we all cant be winners. Accept that and find happiness regardless
What they should be doing is having humility, accepting their innate inferiority/subhumanity, move on with their lives and try to enjoy themselves despite their genetic + aesthetics handicap

Your default natural looks is what gets you girls and respect along with your innate behavior. Trying to change these or compensate by lifting is just showing to everyone else that you were flawed from the start. No person engages in such aspie, baseless vanity unless they have a complex, be it napoleonic, skinny BDD, smallcocked syndrome, ect

If you're not doing it because you love what you're doing, then get the fuk out.
Lifting gets you instant respect wherever you go and in business it conveys power and dominance. Lol at you for saying it doesn't matter.

Gymcelling is suppose to be a compensation tool for that "it" factor, if you already have "it" you would never see the need to lift but for sports, as such lifting is a self fulfilling prophecy, there are no elites who seriously BB. If you have a good face, good social circle or good frame+height combo lifting would be the farthest thing from your mind.

Well said OP. A few years ago I couldn't comprehend life without lifting. These days it's on the back burner. I struggle to get in three days a week lately. Lifting is great compared to what your average person does with free time, but over all it is much less crucial in social status and competing than people think.
I've said this before, I'll reiterate. I go to jiu jitsu and get schooled by dudes smaller and weaker than me all day long. I'm talking white belts with approx a year of training. If I had spent half the time working out actually training a martial art I would be on a whole other level of alpha male.

you *******s always talk about frames and weaknesses, well that's what GRIT and TENACITY are for. to get rid of weaknesses. but of course, it's easier to just be a pussy and quit the first few times you fail and complain about it on an internet forum. look narrow? do weighted pullups. have a weakness? spend time figuring out how to make it your strength.
go ahead OP, quit lifting, it's one less piece of competition in my life. looks like you failed natural selection lololol

That's because to get to a level where you're taking steroids and getting that big you have something wrong with you. Normal people stay healthy and aren't bothered about having 20"biceps or whatever. Most people in BBing are freaks with low self esteem.

I can confirm I am all of that
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

lol I can't believe people are actually agreeing with OP
Most guys who aren't total dweebs lift or has lifted at some point
I started lifting in 8th grade, and most guys I knew, whether you were a gangbanger, football player, basketball player, etc, didn't matter, most of us lift. Lifting builds strength, simple as. Maybe people don't respect bodybuilding, because getting a physique to impress anyone but women is dumb. Most guys lift to get strong, so they're not a wimp or wimpy looking. Some people overdue it (like bodybuilders) and just look overly intimidating, unattractive, and plain worthless.

Fun fact.... I pulled more chicks -
- Before I started lifting
- When I was more innately shy and smiled when felt embarrassed etc. Was more bashful back in the day
Why? Lmao I dunno.... perhaps because a smile is disarming to a girl, I wasn't overbearing etc, girls felt comfortable around me? In 2009 when I was 22, quite a few girls invited me OVER to their place lol (4-5 that I can remember). They initiated conversation, would send me their numbers voluntarily, and ask me out. It was a strange year

nah, if you're okay looking and you lift normal people associate you with some sort of hero—often project ideas of dedication, commitment, internal resolve and strength.
i'm not even that big, but the amount of deference you automatically get once you put on a bit of lean size is crazy. people will apologize a lot, say thanks a lot, smile a lot more at you, will not resist your lead.
the secret is to just pretend it's like any other activity, like watching tv, or cooking, or playing videogames. hide it unless someone asks and be polite but brief unless you can have a real conversation and learn something from them.
also
it's completely opposite if you're gay. it rules.

what if you lift because you love your genetics and have genuine passion to exceed your personal limits in a fairly controlled environment such as the gym?
Never went through a self hate phase, was well liked in high school and dated the #1 rated chick in my university for a couple years. Through all of that I was hitting the gym for around 1-2 hrs five days a week. e z p z
Ive been literally chased down by model reps, Ive been asked to bang a completely random dudes wife, I've been complimented in just about every way you could be due to physique. While my face is model tierish, it isnt the end all be all. Most chicks like big (muscular) guys: the protection element cannot be overstated. IME, the pretty boys with the expensive clothes didnt land the babes....they got the no assed/underdeveloped ones.
What you label as vanity, I label as trying. Pple usually give a higher baseline of respect to those who try. Those who dont try tend to have a higher baseline of unfounded animosity towards them.
IMO, the logic used to cast bodybuilding and lifting in general could be applied to anything
BRB fat old dude is wearing Kobe shoes in a pickup game, but he sucks. Does he know that he will never be in the NBA. Is his insistence on using $120+ shoes vanity? or can he do whatever the fuk he wants to?
BRB soccer player is bald and short, but plays soccer because, while not bald, Messi is short and he is very good at soccer. Does any goal the player makes a compensation for his height? Does any one point out that his goals dont matter, and that he shouldnt even mention them during his daily watercooler talks?
OP,t the end of the day, nothing matters, you just do what makes you happy.
Stop raining on peoples parades. While you may have better genetics and dont require the same effort others require does not allow you to be a dick.

I was into bodybuilding for at least 8 years. Left it like 2 years when I realized that I was doing more harm to my body then any good. Sure I was skinny and made big gains, but I could have done that by only eating well too.
All bodybuilding gave me in later years was a sore body, back and legs damage. Had I continued I have no idea what further health problems I could have picked up. Some muscular guys look attractive on media, internet and pictures but in reality how can a swollen body attract someone is beyond me.

your **** would not be hurting if you practiced proper form and really focused on the mind-muscle connection instead of how heavy you could lift

Just ate clean, lifted properly, and was very strict. Stays lean year round. You are right. I did heavy leg presses and deadlift with wrong form. But still even if everything was right, the things bodybuilding do to your body just appears disgusting to the mind.
Problem is so much of the advice around here is complete nonsense. And to be honest, I even have a lower back injury from deadlifting. But after that, I corrected my form on everything, and have been injury free for over 5 years. Just really have to leave the ego at the door.
Funny thing is, the people who REALLY know what they're doing hardly even focus on compounds. You'll see these guys on all the machines really isolating their muscles because they understand the importance of mind muscle connection. It's much harder and dangerous to get that with compounds.
