I lean right wing and believe in the climate changing...I just don't buy us having a huge impact on it. Studies have just been all over the place regarding this and there are a lot of natural factors effecting it.
Also I find it funny how global warming became climate change when all the warming alarmists were wrong.

that being said, it's not the subject of climate change per say, it's the causes & way it is described that doesn't match up.
Global climate change has happened since the earth existed and will continue to regardless of what car you drive, what fuel you use, what kind of manufacturing you're doing, or anything you can think of that humans have control over besides anything on a large nuclear scale.
-saying globalwarmingis happening is inaccurate.
-saying humans are (or ever have) caused any sort of global warming is inaccurate
-buying into the skewed data used to waste money on a pointless agenda to fight said global warming is ignorant af.
Cliffs:
-large scale climate change exists
-if you don't believe it, read the rest of my post, then do some research.
-if you still don't buy into it, the flat earthers probably have room in their world for you

I don't believe in any heavily politicized science. Usually some agenda behind it (whether that be on one side or the other of the political aisle).

Either way, I'm pretty certain that the methane produced from cattle production is much more detrimental than emissions from vehicles/factories in this climate change debate. That being said I like my beef at $2-4 a pound than $15.
The chicken industry should lobby for this point and get tax's created to decrease the demand for beef and at the same time increase their own sales.

It's not that the climate is changing it's that
1) Man is primarily responsible for climate change
2) That the change can be accurately forecast via computer modelling
3) That the predicted change will be harmful to humans
4) That the predicted change can be mitigated via a change in human behaviour
5) That is is a prudent use of resources to focus on combating climate change
6) That government is best tasked with spearheading the proposed changes
I don't know why the left have taken the position that they are the true guardians of the planet given the shockingly wasteful and environmentally damaging histories of communist governments.

We're spinning on a rock around the sun, not living in a computer simulation - even a little deviation or wobble of the earth can causes the temperature to fluctuate. Sometimes it gets hotter sometimes colder. Liberals are just *******s that wanna white knight the planet ( M'lady) from the alphas.

I don't think anyone with half a brain could deny the climate on our planet changes. But human caused climate change is an issue to promote cap and trade, which ironically leads to the fattest cats getting fatter.

Actually:
many believe it is real... here are the branches in thought though
1. Whether man made or natural oscillation of the climate is the main cause
AND
2. Opposition to how it should be handled; what most people disagree with are worldwide regulations to emissions and specs and carbon load from nations - leading to fines and sanctions for violators from multi-national groups - leading to coalitions of nations against others
.... most - including myself - see the "solution" for global warming as a slippery slope to globalism

I for one believe it's real but there's far too many factors that go into it. I don't buy that we are solely responsible for it, to think so is arrogant and foolish on our parts.

The US is the only country in the G25 where there is any dispute it is real and caused by humans.
Even China and India who stand to lose much more than US do not deny the existence of global warming so go ahead and deny it all you like as some left wing agenda.

More right than left here and I believe that the climate is changing. That's not really my issue with climate change though. My issue is the hypocrisy that comes from the left when discussing it.
Typical leftist Climate Change Politician. The climate is changing and "we" need to make a change. BRB let me hop in my G650 that I bought with the money I received from the oil industry.......
Also since I was in elementary school I remember being warned about how new levels of natural disasters would start occuring. AKA parts of the world now underwater because of melting Ice.... Last I checked Florida is still there. Ice is forming on both poles but its not permanent ice (which is melting so thats not permanent either) so its not the same etc. etc.
The left politicized it and made it out as people on the right causing it because they are pro(whatever industry could be causing it) so of course the right went full potato and just started denying it. Then from 2008-2010 the left had a super majority in US politics and yet the beef and oil and gas industries still got massive subsidies to continue doing exactly what they've been doing. I think the problem is all the doom and gloom that climate scientists have said is imminent hasn't happened at all so it makes them look like they don't know what they are talking about.
Ironically humanity is the one species that is best suited to handle a warmer planet as most of our people are situated in the northern hemisphere relatively far away from the equator. Means more usable farm land where the most land mass is. Even if the vast majority of meat was not able to survive plants are easy to grow in the now warmer climates more north of us...which would even more ironically mean we need less farm land=less fossil fuel usage=climate would start to heal itself=I say stay the current course. Semi-srs.
I also take issue with the fact that if you want a grant to study climate change from the US. Government your hypothesis has to be that Humans are causing climate change. If your aim is to disprove that narrative, your only option is private funding, and most of the companies who can afford to fund that type of study would have a direct interest in climate change not being a human caused issue.
AKA Nothing the masses can really do to affect climate change except buy more fuel efficient vehicles or electric cars, Solar if they can afford it, live more frugally or at least more efficiently, contact local politicians to make changes. It may seem like a lot but even if the majority of the country did it, it would be a drop in the bucket of the amount of change needed because of emerging countries like China, India, and Brazil.
