It's true that those other expenditures are important for a young person to consider.

Nonetheless, it's possible if you manage yourself well. One of my mates is in Europe right now doinghis 3rd Contiki..... and he has enough money saved up for a house deposit and living comfortably

I did 10 weeks last year myself OP but I didn't spend anywhere near 15k, I assume your flight to the US was pricey? Like where did the bulk of your money go?



I do see you drank every night haha that'll add up.

I did more or less the same countries/cities a couple years ago, but... Instead I'm from Europe already, took my car, few buddies and took us about 4weeks to go through all that except UK (which is a ****hole anyway)
slept in the car, used no hotels whatsoever, and Spent around $600 each for 4weeks (mainly on fuel).
was a blast but didn't cost $15k

yeah man i probably spent like $2000 just on alcohol lmao. the flights from budapest to north carolina cost me $2000 lmao but i dont regret it at all. Plus i had free accom and sex waiting for me there.
