It's as if no one does any research before buying anything. They just blindly go out and buy products because of the name. I mean all these problems with EOTech are a huge issue, yet why didn't anyone point out these flaws earlier, like days, months, years earlier? Oy Vey. Don't be sad, hop a board the train, Aimpoint's got you. I heard NCStar makes some decent Sights too.[/QUOTE]You seem mad..

RThomo . . . army looking to ditch the Ma Deuce on the vehicles? Going with an adaptation of the Apache's gun?
http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2016/08/...placement.html
As the U.S. Army readies to bring its current crop of Humvees into the 21st century with a new vehicle, reconnaissance officials are also looking to replace the Humvee's pre-World War II .50-caliber machine gun with a version of the Apache helicopter’s cannon in 2019.
The Army has embarked on a major project to replace the Humvee, officially known as the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWVS). Last year the Army signed a $6.7 billion deal with Oshkosh Defense for 17,000 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs). Touted as offering more protection and greater off-road mobility, JLTVs will replace a large chunk of the Army and Marine Corps’ legacy Humvee fleet. The military expects to see the new vehicles in 2018 and 2019.

Not sure what the JLTVs are and how they differ from the M-ATVs that we had. The M-ATVs we got were brand new and made by Osh Kosh as well
Looks like the JLTVs are just a slightly upgraded version. Not much looks different from what I can tell. The M-ATVs were awesome, don't know what they could do to improve them really but if they did then it would be an even better vehicle.

I've witnessed eotechs being used both in Arctic like conditions and in over 120 degree heat. Maybe it's limited to a specific batch, but you're 100% wrong to suggest it's a wide spread problem.

If anybody cared enough to look into it, or read the first paragraph from the first of multiple reports in the link, they would see that. relent doesn't actually look into anything though, he just rants lol
Also fogging over so that you can't even see your backup iron sight lol

You can't look the same as someone else, but you can be the best of yourself.
