we get it; he's on the BLM bandwagon protesting against police killings. why isnt he complaining against blacks killing each other though? most black homicides are done by blacks.... if black lives matter, shouldnt he be out there protesting against all violence against blacks and not just police?

sure he can care; he just shouldnt pick sides when its a systemic problem

People seem to freeze up like it never happen, and or act like it didn't happen.

Itt miscers are mad that someone who has a considerate amount of power is bringing attention to the inadequacies of social justice in America.

Call him a ******* all you want, but he did indeed hit a nerve that most of you all are unwilling to accept.

Black on black crime is apparent, just like any other race, however cops take oath to protect and not to cold blood murder innocent civilians.

America is fuked up and needs a huge awakening in our black communities, and other communities in general.

Kaepernick is awaking 'the giant' that most of you would like to remain asleep.

Nice try though.

My white brahs explained to me that some white people still have the "Blacks are fine as long as they know their place" mentality. Meaning we if we get "uppity" it's a problem.

Dude did a peaceful protest instead of rioting. Guess it still aint acceptable to protest period. He even said his chit wasnt towards vets at all. Probably the same things were said to Jackie Robinson back then, telling him he should be grateful. Did he even reference white people? He never said he was oppressed either.

So why are people triggered? Did you want him to be politically correct?

You're making a big assumption. Why do you say Kaepernick cares about anyone else? Does sitting down during the national anthem really show you that he cares about others? And who exactly are these "others" that he supposedly cares for? Black criminals that wind up shot by police? This whole situation is retarded and that's why people are calling him out.

Yeah okay. To the tune of about 250/45,000,000 blacks a year killed by police, the large majority of them being justifiable homicide or against violent felons or both.

But how does Colin stand up against such injustices? Doesn't stand for an anthem that honors those those that uphold the law, the constitution, protect our country, and a song that stands for the values of our nation (equality for ALL). He's being divisive more than anything.

I'm a life long 49er fan -- hope they cut him.

I have no issue at all with him sitting during the anthem. That is what the First Amendment is about. Being free to speak against the government. It brought some attention to the cause, which is a good thing.

The socks? Like I said before, protest is good if it brings about constructive conversation. In this case, it's divisive.

1st amendment is i****ingrelevant. The government is not trying to abridge his right to free speech. This is about Kaep being a douche and being an idiot, not government regulation of speech or religion. That's what pisses me off.

What about sitting during the anthem is being a douche and an idiot?

He made a protest against the government by not following a social more. This brought attention to the cause of unjust police shootings.

He is using his stature to try to affect positive change.

That's a bad thing?

He's an attention whore POS who's trying to create a false narrative to use when he gets cut for his sh*tty QB play. He's the perfect useful idiot for the regressive left and his radical GF. Probably also trying to impress her, being a goofy looking guy he's probably scared she'll leave him if he doesn't placate her views.

I agree. But people are seriously fuming over this. This has always happened. Black athletes have ALWAYS protested. I feel like people bringing Vets into this are only doing so for social media likes.

If you cared about vets then why arent you out helping rehabilitate them after our Government throws them away? The people who keep throwing in the Veteran argument should be just as mad about how our country treats Vets.

He has Vets in his family so he probably does more than these people who are mad

Black brahs get shot trying to be alpha, basically. Instead of just shutting up, complying and lawyering up when there is a gun in your face. Black lives matter and it's up to black brahs to not throw them away trying to be alpha.

It's not that he can't care, as others already pointed out, it's an act of desperation. Why that game? why never before? Because his days were already numbered. He wasn't going to make the final cut either way so nothing to lose at this point. LOSER.

- black dude gets angrier and angrier, the outrage is boiling over
- black dude gets triggered completely and starts doing everything he can to become a martyr, because he simply cannot believe what's happening - starts fighting, resisting, reaching into his pockets, etc.
- cop either shoots justifiably if bm is reaching for a weapon or officer's gun/w.e. or the cop himself loses his shiet and fires off a few rounds

Black brahs get shot trying to be alpha, basically. Instead of just shutting up, complying and lawyering up when there is a gun in your face. Black lives matter and it's up to black brahs to not throw them away trying to be alpha.
Sometimes it's justified, sometimes it's not. Was Amadou Diallo justified? Was the beating of Rodney King justified?
Jesus is my lifting partner.
