Him needing to mention multiple drastically different genres to justify Rap, is the point. Rap is the combination of ALL the worst things in our society.

I'm speaking in the context of USA. As large as the latino community is in the USA and they have a lot of trouble makers - they don't complain in the media as blacks do. Latinos don't complain about some racist system. They are more honest and able to self-reflect.

so a lot of blacks are afraid of speaking out against black stupidity out of fear of being outcasted

I'm a young black male. I grew up on rap but no longer listen to it. I still listen to "black" genres but they're more refined and respectable than rap. Jazz and old school soul/R&B mostly. I hate rap and won't allow my kids to listen to it. rap culture is awful and trashy

This used to be true. Not anymore. It is actually the reverse these days. Kids dress exactly like rappers and imitate them completely. The hood was never wearing tight jeans and rock tee shirts/dyed hair until rappers did it. You are only fooling yourself if you believe otherwise.

I can relate Opie : 2 weeks ago an Indian girl call me "*****"for joke thinking it was cool with a cheeky smile on her face : I just stood there berstaring her the whole time until she got the message.

We are discussingthe mainstream. What is most popular. What an impressionable youth is most likely to be influenced by

Who gives a sh*t about some obscure genre/artist that only a tiny percentage listens to. I'm sure there are some nice and friendly subsections of Islam too.
