Holland has it right! have their own cycle lanes well away from the roadside in the country, in the city it's tight but still 10x safer.

Been pushed into a ditch by an articulated lorry before, overtaking me on a bend......on a tiny (UK) country lane LMAO, strongest of strongs.

build cycle lanes that cars cant get into!!!!!untill then it will always be a cluster****

I give the nice ones space when I pass, you can tell when they're just commuting and they're respectful of other road users

The kunts that hold up traffic on purpose and act all smug get a pass with my wingmirror 6 inches from their arm and sometimes a blast of the airhorn when it's right next to their ear if they've really pissed me off

This is what needs to happen. It's slowly happening more and more in the US, especially in urban areas



But in rural/suburban areas, you have insecure men who still think exercise is beta and that the only way they can be tough is to drive a huge pickup truck. It's sad really.

I cycle a lot and i fukkin hate cyclist since they are *******s, i put on normal training pants etc because i dont want to get associated with those people. Was having a discussing with a cyclist why they never stop he said "When you are in the the zone you dont want to stop and if stop you legs with fill with lactic acid" I called him a pussy for not doing Interval and he shut up (i know it doesnt make sense but they are pussy's dont want to stop because it hurts their legs.) Just fukking burn those legs to shreds and see some gainz instead of those skinny ecto cyclist legs.

Groups are even worse because they think you will move away from them because they are with 10 people, lol that even rustles me more and makes me want to fight the whole group. They just scream "MOOOOVVEEEE!" and dont even move to the side themselfs, then i just stick my elbow out and hope one of those pushing *******s falls down and start trowing haymakers so i'll have a excuse to fuk them up.

End rant/ kbye

p.s yes i live in The Netherlands but they still fuk up the bike pads.

There are jerks who ride bikes and there are jerks who drive 4-wheeled motor vehicles.

There are also good, decent people who ride bikes and good, decent people who drive 4-wheeled motor vehicles.

Some people ride bikes because they can get some fresh air, added exercise, or help the environment. Some people drive motor vehicles because it has increased safety, is sometimes faster, and can be more comfortable and convenient. There are also some people who alternate between both driving and biking. There is nothing inherently wrong with either and nothing wrong with a person who partakes in either mode of transportation, just a different risk to reward ratio. At the end of the day, we are all just human and we all just want to get from point A to point B safely and unharmed and uninjured to be with our family and friends. That is the top priority and the thing of the utmost importance. Get rid of "us" or "them", and focus on the "we". We are one. We will cooperate. We will work together. We will coexist peacefully. We can all agree on that can't we?

Thing is in the US we have huge parks and recreational areas where cars can't even go. There is no reason to ride a bike on a busy public street except to be an *******.

It's not an "accident" it's a crash, usually caused by a negligent driver.

If you're telling me you can't operate your motor vehicle in a safe and legal way, you need to turn in your license because you're a danger to yourself and everyone else on the road.

Would you seriously argue most cyclists are safe and legal operators?

Also, why don't they have to be licensed but I do? It seems cyclists want to put all the responsibility on car drivers.

Not trying to derail the thread, but artificial intelligence is coming in automated motor vehicles. It will definitely change up how things happen on the road, and in particular to that notion of drivers not driving safely and legally or making a mistake and causing harm to others. It would certainly make things different for cyclists on the road.

Yes, they're about as safe and legal as any motorist.

For every cyclist you see run a red light or stop sign, there's a motorist who stopped in the middle of the cross walk, or past the stop bar, or made a lane change without signaling. You're just biased and ignore those violations.

I ride my bike to the gym and at least once a week some woman with the right of way will stop dead in the middle of the road to try and wave me through when I'm waiting at a stop sign, like I'm pedestrian at a crosswalk or something. Ban women.

Lol stick to the paths? Since when did cars own the road? And if you didn't realize most people don't have a path from the front step of their house to their work. They may have to take some "short-cuts" you fck.
