Audi has outsold BMW and MB month over month for at least the past year. Currently #1 German automaker. Is on 63 months of consecutive sales better than the last. Consumer reports calls it best car manufacturer. BMW (and MB) over inflates residuals on a lease so you can never get out of them early by going to another manufacturer, you are always upsidedown.

Audi > BMW > MB IMO

It depends on which BMW and which Audi. The M3 trumps all that Audi has to offer. Otherwise, its Audi all the way inside and out.

With my BMW, I would have to drive 20 miles to the dealership for repairs. For four years it was minor stuff here and there, but then everything was going wrong with it every month, and the warranty wouldn't cover it.

Out of the German big 3, nothing comes close to the driving experience and handling of bmw

If I'm going mid range performance luxury I'm buying it to drive the piss out of it and at that point its bmw or bust

There is obviously some truth to it if 99% of the time euro cars are brought into a conversation majority of it will be about the maintinance. Those cars are expensive to run and a lot of the models depreciate like crazy. brb 110k dollar M6 is worth 30k after 5 years. Not to mention youll be paying for repairs as if it was still brand new.
