Why tip the waiter? It's the cook who made your meal.

I fukking hate tipping sometimes. Their job is easy as chit. Take orders, bring out food and refill drinks. A fukkin 10 year can do the job. One time this waiter was late as hell taking orders and never refilled my drinks and was late giving me the check. Restaurant was like half empty and I saw him flirting with the other waitresses and chit. I always have some cash on me for situations like this. Paid my bill with a 20 dollar bill and kept the change.

Some time afterwards, I went to the same restaurant again and got the same chit waiter so I requested to speak to the manager and told her I wanted a different waiter because this one was chit. I got a different waiter and I'm sure the chit waiter had a good talkin to from the manager. LFMAO!

While a .75 cent tip is bull**** and I have worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years you don't post a ****ing receipt online and bitch about it. You serve anywhere between 30-80 people a night usually just because you had one tip you **** doesn't give you the right to be butt hurt about it. I've been tipped Jesus pamphlets I don't know how many times you just know it will happen and move on.

How is the tip a given? It's literally something you add to the bill yourself as a token of appreciation. God damn you are part of this cuckold generation. Not only are prime porn sites blooded with your bs, now you have to come on the misc with your cumstained face and spread your beta way of thinking on the misc as well.

Do you think you'll get better service if you tip them after they farted all over your vegan salad in your feminist friendly coffee bar?

Just take a second to realise how gay and beta you are when you take some cash out of your wallet to reward some fukface for treating you poorly. You literally just gave money to get shet on.

lmao at calling them dumbasses when they're right. Tipping is NOT a given, it is a sliding scale that goes all the way to $0 if the service is terrible. If they feel entitled to a tip it allows the quality of their work to decrease. If a waitress/waiter knows they aren't entitled to sh*t they'll work harder to please the customer. Why should you pay tips on top of your food fees if the service negatively affected your restaurant experience?

Also, no one is suggesting removing the tipping aspect. It's a good system to give incentive for good service. Why should you reward bad behaviour? If you do you're defeating the whole purpose of the tipping system.

Waiters responsibility is to ensure the food that does come out of the kitchen is 1) hot 2) on time

She should have gotten an update from kitchen. I hate when people use others as an excuse for their short comings "oh its everyone's fault but mine" fuk you and fuk this waitress.

All any waiter/waitress needs to do for me is:

-Keep my drink with ice and keep it full.
-Ensure I am not waiting longer than typical time to eat for my food.
-Check in here or there.

I have had bad times and those bad times get little to no tip. The good times gets 10%, the amazing times gets almost what my order cost.
Just act like my friend, keep me fed and hydrated, how fuking hard is this really?

Waited tables and bartended in my early 20's. Made a ****ing killing doing it. I never got these tips because I wasnt a **** server and treated every customer to the best dining experience they could. That's what pays your bills. They say jump, you say how high. You dont do dumb **** like these workers did. They deserve to be fired. Maybe if you didnt **** up there order, make them wait. If he waited 1.5 hours for his food, comp his check. Doesnt come out of the waiters pockets and more than likely he leaves you a tip for doing what you could to make his experience the best. Just **** service.

Actually, most people who go out would like to tip but they want good service for that tip.

I'd rather have 9/10 service and tip 20% than have 0/10 service and save money by not tipping but having a ****ty dining experience.

Good, I'm glad the sloot got fired. Tired of the entitlement of 99% of servers I have known. They all act like they are perfect servers all the time and never admit to mistakes.
I am a pretty generous tipper when I get good service and go above and beyond when the service is excellent. But if you fuk up and then continuously fuk up my tip will be indicative of that.
I never tip 0.00, I will tip $0.01 though to show that, I do tip but you sucked. unfortunately that means I can't go back to that restaurant for a very long time because if that server recognizes me,you know my food is gonna get messed with. Again servers can be such scum. I could literally write a 20 page paper on why.

Just wanted to reply to the bolded portion. If something does go wrong and the waiter/waitress takes care of it as best they can I will tip ridiculously higher. For example, went out to eat once with my fiance and they messed up her order wanted a hamburger and they gave her a cheese burger, which means whole new order (fiance can't do dairy). Well I guess someone in the back remade the cheeseburger a second time and one of the other servers brought it out.... the waitress comes by and immediately says "ohmygod they didn't?!" apologizes again takes the burger back and has it remade again. At this point I wasn't eating because I was brought up that its rude to eat while others don't have their food. My waitress comes back out and asks if I would like mine remade (Now I didn't mention why I wasn't eating she just asks) since it might be cold (it wasn't), I declined and she brings out the burger a couple minutes later. Comes back and asks us how everything is (good) and then tells us she comped our meals, so we just had to pay for drinks. I ended up tipping 50% based on what our original order would have been because this was obviously not her fault and she tried her damndest to make it right.

The rest of what you said is stupid however, I will talk about this point, because this itself is just as stupid as everything else you said.

I work in IT, end user support, customer facing technician.....whatever you want to call it, I deal with vendors, clients, customers, and employees.

If at anytime I belittle, berate, talk down to, get snippy with any of those people....they write an email to my manager and my manager and I discuss it. You really think after 4-6 emails I would still have a job? Doesn't matter how good your job is, you do it all the same because you're getting paid to provide a service. I do not get a tip for being nice to them. I just know its part of my job to be nice to people and provide them with a sense of trust and loyalty.

A customer service experience is why people go out.

So you're wrong, most likely you're young and naive to think this will all fall apart because tipping goes away. A customer service rep of Comcast or Dish does not get tips yet they are still to remain professional at a kiosk or on the phone with irate customers.

I beg you watch this and learn a little about history:

ive waited on many athletes. Deion Sanders comes to mind when i think of tips. Didnt mention it to anyone. 5 dollar tip on a 100 dollar check, if i posted it on social media, there would be some kind of riot over it. thing is, wasnt even mad about it. he bought a ton of food, asked for 2 drinks, then said "dont bother coming back over here, im waiting on a flight. here is the money and tip."

easiest 5 bucks ever. drop off 2 drinks, bring out his food, continue banging out all of the other tables and make a ton of cash. why put an athlete on blast because they have money ? why these clowns deserved being fired.

Let me guess...you're a waiter? LFMAO! So if someone fukked up on your order. Did not refill your drinks. Did not check up on you. Waited long as fukk to give you your check. Should you give him money for not doing his job? Don't get me wrong, I WANT to tip. I usually tip at least 30% every fukking time I go out. I'm not cheap but I won't give someone money for poor service. That's just stupid. Rewarding bad behavior will only encourage bad service.

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

So most people go out to eat and expect to tip while tipping better for better service...? Ok that's exactly what he said.

That waitress or waiter should have just accepted his/her fate and hope to make it up on the next ticket. You just accept it and move on.

If you can't do that because you are greedy and want to clear $100 cash a shift, then you will not make it long.

In the long run, everything will work out. What a fuktard.

Did you read my first post? I'm going to take a wild guess and say no. I sell POS systems to restaraunts and have Bartended and served. If you don't go to a restaurant expecting to tip based on the service you get you might be a full blown retard.
