Windows Phone master race checking in.

If it wasn't for a chit app market, they have great phones. Awesome user interface and features that are better than most Android and Apple phone, at least previously they were head on things, not sure now. Removable battery, micro SD slot, live tiles, glance screen.

The Windows Phone is dying though, and my next phone will probably be an Android. It's a shame, if more people bought/tried Windows Phones I think they'd like it. But Apple fanboys have killed the competitive cell phone market and it's a shame. For some people, like the OP, Apple could literally take the previous iPhone, move some buttons around and change the look, and get people to shell out almost $700. They seem to always release a new phone when it's not even needed, knowing people will buy it.

I hope you realize Anandtech is an industry authority on this kind of stuff every year and have the most legit testing methods.

Sorry kid but the active is just another crappy buggy touch wiz device like the others. Good luck with restarts, memory errors and power cycles.

Not to mention the ugly bulkiness.

Guaranteed IRL it doesnt last longer than an iPhone 6S Plus if you're using it.
The 6 plus is massive and with the case you need to protect it it's even more of a beast. My phone already sometimes pulls my shorts down in my pocket couldn't image a 6 plus lol. I'd be willing to bet it tops the iPhone I that aandtech test but it's not really a main flagship phone so that's why it was probably not on there. Stupid **** at&t exclusive that takes forever to get android updates if it ever even does.

Not sure what this memory crash, restart, and power cycle stuff you speak of that I'm supposed to be doing is.

The thing that truly sets Apple above the rest, the selling point that keeps us around almost like we are brainwashed is actually the iCloud eco system with "continuity" technology.

iPhone is the only smartphone that works seamlessly out of the box with iPad and Mac.

The mac is running MacOS.

MacOS is the best OS available on the market.

So therefore iPhone is the best phone on the market for that reason alone.

Any tabs i have on one device can be opened on another, anything i watch on youtube on one can be continued where i left off on the other. All just out of the box no installs, needed. One master login on all devices, current and future. Starting tomorrow, even copy and paste clipboard across all devices.

No other eco system can do any of this or even try to. There literally is no competition.

Thats why it seems like we are sheep and would never consider anything else. Its too good, nothing compares.

This only proves that Samsung has better customer service.

It seems that Apple nut huggers have forgotten about bendgate. Lol just lol.

The phone is literally the S6 with a bigger battery.

The battery drain is the same as on S6. It drains fast, just there is a bigger tank.

The 6 Plus has a large tank too but the battery lasts forever like 2 days + with normal usage on normal brightness. Those extra few hundred mAh aren't gonna make much of a difference brah.

Funny how this abuse only applies to the Iphone, and not the Note 2, 3, 4 LG G Pro, LG G Flex, and every other huge ass phone that came out before the 6+. I didn't bother reading the rest of your post, you're an idiot.

Albeit, a sentence fragment did catch my eye.

Below is a newer model MBP, also blown up from the battery exploding.

There are Android phones with 9000mAh batteries, that's 3 times the capacity of any Iphone. OSX isn't any faster than Plain Android without bloatware, in fact it's slower and buggier, crashes more, all that good stuff. I can post some stats if you'd like. BRB Seamless computer integration, needs Itunes to do the simplest things, BRB can't drag and drop files from computer directly into phone.

All of those phones, it applies to them too. Pictured below are many other phones that also bend if you bend them.

As for you battery post, I told you they don't explode, they expand.

Its cells are designed to balloon out on reaching a dangerous state, forcing the case to crack open, in order to prevent the cell from losing its seal and catching fire.

Its non combustible and engineered to do that as a safety measure for people who have battery problems.

I've owned 2 G Pros, a Note 3, Note 4, Note 5, and V10, all huge phones, none of them have ever bent, and I've sat on all of them, the V10, I elbowed it when I jumped on my bed and didn't see it, no bends. It's one thing to bend a phone intentionally, it's another for it to bend whilst being used normally. The only phone I've seen bend with normal use is the Iphone.

Are we gonna keep playing this game? I can find pictures of smoldering MBPs.

The only thing we can take away from this discussion is that failures happen with any hardware, but only Apple will cover their ears and say "nuh uh" repeatedly.

Actually it is faster in the GUI which is a noticably smoother touch response and user interface precision. Android is actually the one that crashes more by a wide margin. I have never had to restart my phone.

you say iTunes like as it its not a standard preinstalled app as vital as the browser or the file folders and is part of the backbone of the OS along with the app store.

I would never want to drag and drop any files i stream everything in the cloud or off the internet. You are wack and outdated.

I have the original iPhone 6 Plus from that exact time pre ordered and day 1 delivery and since then for two years, I have never even gotten close to bending it or sitting on it. Its in perfect condition. It would take a ton of pressure to bend this thing.

Anyone who acts like they bend like pop tarts is an absolute numbskull.

It's not any faster than the software in Nexus phones, I know this as a fact, I have an Iphone 6S after all. Itunes is not vital, it's shyt. It's one of the many reasons I dislike Iphones.

I don't use cables to sync my phone, but it's nice to have the option, just like it's nice to have the option to wirelessly fast charge my phone, or use mass storage when I wanna move a file that's 40GB in size. Just like it's nice to add a 256GB SD card, or a larger battery, or just being able to replace the battery instead of waiting for it to charge. Options, I have them with my Android phones, you do not, with your Iphone.

No it's not. I wonder, what do you do, you can't be in IT if you believe Itunes is a basic and "useful" program.

The one nice thing about apple though is all the bloatware that they dont have. Fuk this phone being an at&t exclusive was a joke with how much **** it came with. If i remember i think one of my homepages was even an advertisement or some **** lol. My phone would probably run even better if it just had stock android fuk at&t.

Part of what makes Android trash is that you have to root them.

Or that "problems" like that are common and the experience is inconsistent and unpredictable.

Not really. The UI is typically the only thing that is really different with various Android devices. Touchwiz looks and feels and is laid out different than LG or HTC's interfaces and different than vanilla android but under the hood, everything works exactly the same.

You don't HAVE to root any androids to get a good experience. My S7 Edge is perfectly functioning and (out of preference) I installed nova launcher so I can use the same set of app icons and homescreen features/layout/styles that I've been using for years.

It looks and feels exactly like my nexus 6P and exactly like my old LG G2 I had before that.

Not being able to have my home screens look and feel a certain way on the iphone 6+ I had for a year was awful. I hated it and didn't want to go through the hassle of jailbreaking as that would probably break random chit just like installing a custom rom or rooting an android phone would do.

You hated the iPhone because the home screen didn't look and feel a certain way?

Lol I thought the home screen was a tool to launch apps.

You seem like your more caught up customizing your layout than actually using apps, browsing the web, and consuming content.

Google does this dude. Google hangouts on my pc to answer text messages. My chrome browser on my phone is the same as my pc with the same bookmarks. Same goes for my Samsung tablet... Which also has an ir blaster and acts as a giant touch screen remote for my entire media setup. Samsung watch on is the Goat TV app. Google accounts sync everything across all devices.

You honestly think Google isn't on top of that? Lol literally everything you listed I do on my android and windows pc. And probably more in fact.

But you're talking to a guy who built his own pc. I didn't buy it from a store. I made it work myself cause I have a brain and don't need to use a limited OS.

Did I mention I can stream my pc games to my tablet and play? How's that work out on ios? Oh right.. It doesn't. Lol at airplay. Did you buy a 200 dollar apple TV just to use airplay? My gf has apple TV. It's a great time trying to convert 20gb blu ray rips from mkv into a file iTunes will accept. Lmao jk. It collects dust and we use Chrome cast and plex with a windows pc server because apple is **** at doing anything real with their products.

None of what you mentioned is out of the box and its not the same. It's sloppy. Google fell off years ago.

You have no equivalent for what I can do.

If a call comes in on iPhone I can answer on iPad or Mac.

You have no equivalent for iMessage

You have no equivalent for Apple Music/iTunes Match.

You have no global clipboard etc... It's not the same.

As for streaming games to an iPad? Lol you mean like Moonlight, splash top, and kino console? I can also stream ipad games to my Mac, wirelessly, vice versa, and everything in between, can you?

Yes Apple TV.

Google radio/music is far superior to iTunes. ITunes holds you down and is a ****ty program. It's pretty universally known. I have the option of using any music player I want to play my music files. I use Google radio which comes with ad free youtube red. You literally cannot best this combo for mobile media consumption. Don't even argue it.

I'm not sure what a global clipboard is.

Most of this stuff is simple and out of the box. Or requires installing a simple app from the play store. Ie to use my phone as a remote I have unified remote server running on my pc and the app on my phone. Pretty simple and gives way more options for remote usage. Even my girlfriend uses it on her iPhone because it's simply the best way.

Answering phone calls on the Mac is a nice touch. That I don't have. Texting I can. Google hangouts is basically our I message. Most of the time my pc is for gaming so I don't use these apps because it requires me to stop or minimize my game. That's what the tablet and phone are for.

My tablet as a TV remote is out of the box. Samsung watch on is pre-installed on my tablet. I just opened the app and entered my region and cable provider. Now my cable box looks like a Netflix selection with icons and info for every show on TV. There is no apple equivalent.

You can't stream games because ios cannot run many games.

If you legit believe a macbook/iPhone combo can accomplish more then a windows pc/android combo you are seriously delusional.

Edit I should mention Google radio I pay for to receive youtube red with it. I pay for the family package and have 5 family members also using it for free for them.

Double edit.... I didn't even mention Samsung pay! Forgot my wallet? No biggie. Swipe my phone.

Triple edit.... How bout tethering? When I go camping with all the homies and they wanna use their iPad guess who tethers his phone so they can have internet.... This guy with the Samsung cause apple can't do that.
