These small door dings can be fixed with paintless dent removal. The smart thing would have been to clean off the dented area, assess the damage to see if it was just a paint transfer or an actual dent and go from there. It really doesn't make sense to involve insurance with a claim like this unless of course she wasn't responsive to paying like $75 out of pocket for a shop to fix it.

Right, didn't seem like there was a way to reason with her. The guy should have asked her to open the door slowly to prove to her that it lines up perfectly with the dent that he claims just happened. Judging by the video though it wouldn't have mattered as she was obviously just hoping that making a scene would get the guy to forget about the whole thing.
