Just upgraded to Galaxy S5 this spring, so I don't run into these types of things.

Super AMOLED is actually weaker as well because the tech always feels like its "glowing bright blue" and has poor black representation while Apple uses IPS which is the industry standard in photography resulting in more accurate color balance and closer to true color like it takes photos of. If you ever went to wal mart/bestbuy and saw a bunch of TVs that all look like they were different colors and saturations, the iPhone equivalent of that would be the one that looks closest to the original intention of the picture.

Having more or less "body" to screen ratio is a design choice. At some point it becomes hard to find space to hold it. Making a phone with a balance top and bottom space is actually more ergonomic and symmetrical.

LOL at A10 Fusion not being superior its the most advanced chip on planet earth right now. Everyone is saying they up there with Intel in ability to make chips now and its all about efficiency via integration.

3GB RAM on an Apple device is more significant than 8GB on an Android device.

And finally talk time, well you know already that IRL iPhone will win. This new battery is bigger than before and it features the longest battery life in the history of the iPhone.

I'm not sure what a global clipboard is.

Most of this stuff is simple and out of the box. Or requires installing a simple app from the play store. Ie to use my phone as a remote I have unified remote server running on my pc and the app on my phone. Pretty simple and gives way more options for remote usage. Even my girlfriend uses it on her iPhone because it's simply the best way.

Answering phone calls on the Mac is a nice touch. That I don't have. Texting I can. Google hangouts is basically our I message. Most of the time my pc is for gaming so I don't use these apps because it requires me to stop or minimize my game. That's what the tablet and phone are for.

My tablet as a TV remote is out of the box. Samsung watch on is pre-installed on my tablet. I just opened the app and entered my region and cable provider. Now my cable box looks like a Netflix selection with icons and info for every show on TV. There is no apple equivalent.

You can't stream games because ios cannot run many games.

If you legit believe a macbook/iPhone combo can accomplish more then a windows pc/android combo you are seriously delusional.

Edit I should mention Google radio I pay for to receive youtube red with it. I pay for the family package and have 5 family members also using it for free for them.

Double edit.... I didn't even mention Samsung pay! Forgot my wallet? No biggie. Swipe my phone.

Triple edit.... How bout tethering? When I go camping with all the homies and they wanna use their iPad guess who tethers his phone so they can have internet.... This guy with the Samsung cause apple can't do that.
ITUNES IS NOT A ****TY PROGRAM!

Global clipboard is i can copy something on iPhone and paste it on Mac or iPad.

I use MobileMouse to control my Mac desktop which is wirelessly AirPlayed to my 130" screen. You cant do that. You need wires don't you. At least the HDMI cable.

Google Hangouts isn't as good as iMessage, its not as big of a market, esspecially in like 15 minutes from now with the new interactivity which is probably gonna blow up the internet for the next few days.

As for your cable box, I don't know, I don't watch TV like that Im not a pleb. But Apple TV has every channel and more anyway. It has its own app store you can find anything you would ever want to watch if thats your thing.

Like I said I can stream games, the whole desktop. I can use those three mention in the other post, I can use a PS4 controller to play anything, not that I would ever want to stream a PC game made for a PC on my iPad when there is a whole treasure trove of games on iPad that are some of the best in gaming like Hearthstone, Vainglory, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, Samorost 3.

Why would anyone ever want to do that? lol.

Don't forget, yes I can do everything you can do at any time because I can always boot up into my Windows 10 side on this MBP and can always Jailbreak my iPhone. So yes, I can literally replicate anything you can ever do if for some retarded reason I wanted to but you cant replicate the experience I have.

Thats how desperate they are against Apple. This is also after the old iPhone 6S from a year ago got better benchmarks than the new Samsungs they just released weeks ago. Apple played the long game for years with their OS balance and is paying off huge dividends now. Samsung cant keep throwing more and more specs at their crappy/bloated unoptimized systems.

This is the nail in the coffin lol
Maybe I'm reading this chart wrong but the old antutu benchmark test said Samsung beat the s6 on most power based criteria, but it's up for debate whether either are actually more powerful, and wether the multi-core stuff makes a difference

Typical excuse that you don't NEED more than the resolution of an iphone.

How does AMOLED have poor black representation, when AMOLED represents black buy turning pixels off?? How can you get more black than off?

Samsung panels get rated the best screen panels every time they release a new phone.

Lol at basing snapchat quality on the quality of the camera. Samsung have far superior quality photos/cameras.

Just because you use some ****ty app made for tweens that condenses an image down doesn't mean anything. And this post basically shows youre a typical iPhone pleb who doesn't know anything.

Meanwhile I'm over here making 4k videos and watching them in 1440p on my high res screen or watching in 4k on my TV.

Snapchat was actually just taking a screen shot of the screen instead of actually taking a photo with the camera for androids. I dont know why, but you cannot base quality of photos based on an application.. galaxy s6 and s7 have very good cameras, not understanding your diss on camera quality..

Lol I thought the home screen was a tool to launch apps.

You seem like your more caught up customizing your layout than actually using apps, browsing the web, and consuming content.
It was just the tip of the iceberg. Lack of storage management (no drag/drop file management) and having to use itunes to copy stuff is a pain..

No apps utilize the larger screen and at the time, no split screen. Poverty sharing options, forced to open apps with apple's app (i.e., someone sends me an address, tapping the address brings up apple maps instead of google maps or waze)

1080p screen vs the 6P's 1440p screen. Could tell big difference. 6P's rapid charging was way faster. Emulators/roms with PS4 controller = GOAT mobile gaming. Hilariously bad front camera vs the beastly 7mp front cam on the 6P. Home security cam apps on iphone literally do not work at all. Still unable to get it working on my ipad where as Android has the amazing TinyCam app that gives you a cam feed or multiple feeds on homescreen widgets, record to phone or google drive or FTP folder.

Lastly, pushbullet is incredible and seamlessly links communications between ANY computer mac/pc with your phone in a way OSX to iphone/ipad can't.

There were things I liked but the bad outweighed the good. I still love my macbook pro and ipad but apple are not brining enough to the table for me to go back to using one of their phones. Maybe the iphone 8 will innovate a bit more. Wirelessly

You have no equivalent for what I can do.

If a call comes in on iPhone I can answer on iPad or Mac.

You have no equivalent for iMessage

You have no equivalent for Apple Music/iTunes Match.

You have no global clipboard etc... It's not the same.

As for streaming games to an iPad? Lol you mean like Moonlight, splash top, and kino console? I can also stream ipad games to my Mac, wirelessly, vice versa, and everything in between, can you?

Yes Apple TV.
Hangouts is more or less irrelevant but as I mentioned above, pushbullet is incredibly cool and a must-have killer android app. Links your phone to your web browser on PC or mac so you get pop up window notifications for SMS, MMS, hangouts, ******** messenger, GroupMe, etc apps and can chat, send pics, etc all through the little pop up window.

I rarely touch my phone for chatting, texting, etc any more at the office. PB also lets you manually send/recieve files with your mobile device through your browser. All of this is instantly sync'd across any web browsers you have open. I can send a text to someone and then remote into my computer at the house and see it sent in the pushbullet window at the house immedatly as it shows up on my screen here at the office.

All you get with iphone is imessage chat

As for music, google play music is outstanding and after using Itunes for a year, I'm never going back to that crap. I can load 25,000 of my own songs that I already own up to my google play music account for free and listen to them from any device. PC, Mac, Android, Ipad, etc.

Global clipboard? yes android has that. It's called google keep and it works flawlessly and has pretty cool tricks that Notes on iOS/MacOS don't have and, again, is not platform specific so you can access your notes from any device with internet and all changes are sync'd up.

SRS man, google has matured a LOT and has a ton of really cool features and services that work incredibly well.

google's Duo is really impressive for video chat and works better than facetime if one person has a bad reception. Was trying to facetime with wife when she was traveling for work and had a bad signal. FT kept dropping the call, freezing video, etc. Duo just worked. Got graining and blocky looking but never dropped the call and never froze up the video feed.

Samsung beat the what? The S6 or the 6S Plus?

The history of cores goes like this; Apple always made lower clock cycles cores and used less ram to maintain battery power while SQUEEZING out max performance somehow, I don't know how I'm not an Apple Engineer.

On the other side, Android was more about adding more and more specs and throwing horsepower at the problem. Now as OS are getting more complex, they need more and more power.

Cut to 2016 when nano technology limitations kind of limit how many clock cycles a chip can have. (same thing happened with CPU industry)

So when you max out clock cycles due to heat limitations, you start building multi core to increase capability.

Well Apple has been fine tuning their efficiency for a decade, so now at the conjunction when chips are reaching their current limits, Android is getting left behind in performance, and Apple is reaping the rewards from years of fine tuning their efficiency.

They have a huge significant advantage in performance jumps right now. Like complete Desktop performance integrated in a tiny A10 chip.

iOS has a bunch of swipe from the edge mechanics to go back and forth. If there were no bezels you can cant have a case on it because you cant swipe to the edge.

Or if you are in portrait you need to access command center and you have a case on?

zero bezzels is pointless. you always need a case anyway.

I never once thought, hmmm i wish i had no edges...

Its not that simple lol. For starters iPhone screens seem to have less bleeding effect which makes it actually seem more crisp. Samsung screens often look like they are washed out, even if you mess with the warm/cold color setting. Even the warm seems dull. And there is also the glass layer for the screen and how close you are to it to create that specifically engingineered pop effect.. iPhones seem to just glow.

i dont use a case on my note 5. i haven't for over a year. the slim bezels are much much better in every way. there is literally no scenario where having pointless bezels is a benefit. your phone is much larger then it needs to be for literally ZERO reason.

I'm not a Samsung or Apple lover. That said, an iphone has so many restrictions that annoy me so I avoid them.

Samsung usually has good phones with high prices but I keep my phone for a few years so this doesn't affect me.

lol at the plebs who judge your social standing by the phone you carry.

Wirelessly

Ok thats a lot of stuff, most of it I would never want to do or bother to do or set up. Like what you said about the bubble, why wouldnt I just be using the Mac version of iMessage?

Put it this way, if you met a beautiful woman and got her number what do you think she will already have?

1) iMessage with the blue text
2) Google Hangouts?

lol

I just gave you a reason though.

-Its also more comfortable and ergonomic when gaming.
-Looks more aesthetic.

Needs a case though. Why would you not have a case? Who was resale value?

Spoiler!
Oh I forgot Androids don't have resale value

yeah but you know you can't really say much when your only argument is that you on a personal level have no use for that stuff. many other people do. i have convinced all of my friends who i text regularly for group chats and stuff to use google hangouts because we can all install it across all devices. even apple can use google hangouts. 90 percent of the people i communicate with on a regular basis are using hangouts now regardless of their phone brand.

about the bezels, thats just your opinion. mine is that huge bezels are ugly and make the phone bigger then it needs to be. no point arguing it, though i'd bet you'd find most people across the world agree that thin bezels are more appealing to the eye, hence the reason most displays (TV, phone, monitor, whatever) are being shipped out with thinner and thinner bezels every year.

also i keep most of my devices i don't resale them. androids make great mp3 players. my s3 is rooted and lives in my car as my portable mp3 player, still runs smooth with an old cyanogen rom on it. though now i am on a plan where i can just trade mine back into verizon to put towards an upgrade.

but yes apple stuff does hold its resale value very well.

That and they seem to think apple is the only one who can do anything wireless. Lol at thinking we need to use a hdmi cable to do anything with our phones. Only thing listed that we don't have is imessage, but to be honest I don't give a chit about that.

Like I said before, if for some reason I wanted to do that stuff, I could do that stuff. I have Windows 10 on my Mac. (Though it irritates me even just using that GUI at this point)

I never had to convince all my friends to get iMessage, most of them already have it out of the box.

As for the bezels like I said, the leather case is covering the whole side so I don't see much bezel, just enough to use the swiping features.

My bezels are about 1/8th of an inch visible. Not to mention the symmetry top to bottom looks more elegant and balanced.

if you type in google 'iphone bezels' one of the suggested searches is 'why are iphone bezels so big'

come on dude. you argue with personal preference VS what the majority of human beings think is aesthetic.

I just don't see how imessage would benefit me in any way.
If you were at all right about android needing wires to do anything then you'd have a point and I'd be using apple, but the problem with that is that you completely made it up.

You have no equivalent for what I can do.

If a call comes in on iPhone I can answer on iPad or Mac.

Hangouts can do this

You have no equivalent for iMessage

Hangouts can do that

You have no equivalent for Apple Music/iTunes Match.

No one wants an equivalent to Itunes, it's shyt.

You have no global clipboard etc... It's not the same.

It's called Keep, comes with every Android device.

As for streaming games to an iPad? Lol you mean like Moonlight, splash top, and kino console? I can also stream ipad games to my Mac, wirelessly, vice versa, and everything in between, can you?

Yes, and we mean real games, not Candy Crush.

Yes Apple TV.

Meanwhile I'm over here making 4k videos and watching them in 1440p on my high res screen or watching in 4k on my TV.
Na bro, iPhone camera > any Samsung camera.

But yeah I don't really know anything else about the phones. I'm sure you're making great 4K videos though, I'd love to see them.

I can see the difference between the screen resolutions, I can see it just fine.

OLED screens have true blacks, IPS doesn't compare, I say this as an owner of an LG V10 with an IPS screen, made by LG, same company that makes Apple screens. You have no idea what you're talking about.

BRB big ass bezels are a design choice, Apple chooses to be inferior.

Compare Apples to apples, compare a Nexus phone to an Iphone, see which is faster IRL.

There are Android phones with 9000mAh batteries. Iphones aren't winning shyt.
