For the sake of clarity, the pic isn't mine, I found it on the net lol. It's just easier to see what I'm talking about instead of just reading it.

Nothing wrong with more variety. A fair amount of people seem to think that a short 9mm rifle will do something that an AR will not, which I don't believe is true (unless that thing is: suck more ballistically, or allow you to compete in Pistol Caliber Carbine classes in USPSA).

I don't know why but my ar isn't very comfortable to shoot. Its like the stock is too short and it feels really unbalanced. It feels awkward to hold and get on target quickly. I think I might need a new stock. I have a magpul adjustable stock now but I don't want to start wasting money on parts that won't improve its ergonomics.

That way when stupid laws are passed, its actually feasible to gain support to change them.

It's not at the right height. I bought one that includes two, one has a cutout for the charging handle. so many guys shoot with their cheek floating above the stock, its really bad for sight picture acquisition.

Is this just for fun? If so, do whatever, but I don't think anyone ITT would recommend you use a pistol cartridge over rifle for HD, much less a 9mm carbine.

AR SBRs are perfectly fine, anyone that says otherwise has never shot one or is an offspring of SpecialK

Post a pic of your set up. Find it hard to believe you need a cheek rest with an ACOG.

I'm also looking for a close quarters rifle in 9mm. Something with super fast target acquisition and very maneuverable. MP5 is my dream gun but the prices are insane and I don't want some shiitty clone. I kinda like the idea of a CZ scorpion but im looking for suggestions. Not interested in any AR patterns
Gravity is acceleration in a downward direction, but the bullet has an upward vector because your sights angle the gun upwards. Gravity has to work against the positive upward velocity until it zeros and begans to accelerate downwards.

It's the same as when you throw a ball at a slightly upward angle.

What kind of stock do you have and what's your reach? I know you know if you do BJJ.

On my M&P 15 Sport II the feel is exactly how you describe.

But with my DDM4A1, 6920 and Delton 316 that feeling doesn't exist. Those have a proprietary, Magpul MOE SL and MOE, respectively.

Prove it. Are you aware that the violent crime and murder rate in the US have both been steadily decreasing in the last 30 years, while the gun ownership rate has been steadily increasing?

Correlation does not equal causation. Crime prevention is responsible for that. I am directly comparing ****ries where it's legal vs illegal with same economic development.

And we still have thousand of murders every year in the US, equivalent to 5 9/11's each year.

You're right, but it certainly proves that more guns do not equal more crime, so it disproves the need for gun control. You can't even get your murder stats right, so why would I listen to anything you say?

Switzerland has widespread gun ownership and no restrictions on Semi-auto rifles or mag capacity. There is no registration, and bolt-action rifles/break-action shotguns don't require any kind of licensure/permitting at all.

Switzerland has a homicide rate 1/2 that of the UK and Australia.

You are required to keep your guns locked away in Switzerland. You silly little argument has been disproven time and time again. Not sure why you keep bringing it up.

Der Verschluss von Seriefeuerwaffen und zu halbautomatischen Feuerwaffen umgebauten Seriefeuerwaffen ist getrennt von der brigen Waffe und unter Verschluss aufzubewahren.
The action of fully-automatic weapons and of semi-automatic weapons converted from fully automatic weapons is to be kept seperated from the rest of the firearm, and locked.

This does not apply to semi-automatic weapons which were not previously fully automatic weapons. Keep trying, peasant.
