The interview is simple

Other cards out there give you various benefits. I love the Costco VISA card. There are others out there that will give you 1.5% on all purchases. Check with chase, amex, CITI and see what benefits they offer.
I have the Amex blue cash preferred, 6% on groceries (hhhnnnggg), 3% on gas, 3% at department stores, 1% on everything else. Sucks they just raised the AF to $90 from $70 though, Amex slowly keeps eroding benefits in some way. But I like them because they have no problem giving me a $10k credit limit increase every year ayyy.

so, after we get the card, if we decide to cancel before the next $450 annual fee - will this hurt your relationship with chase? what happens?

Yep.

I'm going to keep it as well and cancel my Sapphire Preferred. Its only $50 more /month and I'll get that out of the extra 1% on travel and dining

Can you lose it even after you've migrated the points over to your airline of choice? I imagine if you leave them in your credit card provider account then sure they could remove them. I've never bothered to check what the contracts on my cards say about this

No idea man. Flyertalk.com would have more info on that

Possibly being red flagged by Chase would be enough to discourage me though. I have probably gone through a million miles with them over the years and half of that coming from sign on bonuses

I signed up with them when they still offered points on savings accounts!

Anybody use Discover? I am hesitant to get one because not all retailers allow discover. That 5% card seems like it is the real deal holyfield.

95% of places I've made purchases accept Discover with the exception of a few smaller restaurants and a few smaller local businesses. Discover IT gives 2% cash back on every purchase and quarterly 5% cash back in select categories. Furthermore you have access to view your FICO credit score at all times.

Its one of the GOAT free/basic cards in my opinion. If you have some badazz credit card your paying for it'll likely be superior. However its still a good card with good perks. Only a pleb would purchase anything with less then 2% cash back or some kind of reward's points that are the equivalent this day and age. lol @ people who hate on credit cards and talk about purchasing everything with cash.

This will be my next Chase card. Too bad I just got a hard pull for my car care one card and my credit score dropped 30 points.

I think February of next year I'll get the Reserve tho. Love the CSP and the reserve is HNNNGGG it seems.

Just got mine very recently. posted itt when i got it. but...

just getting gasoline today it got declined. which im farrrr from the limit, and its too early to even have a bill lmfao but i pay it off like after every purchase anyway (ok every few days or so. but before statement). so it has nothing to do with that

some advertising purchases early this morning triggered the auto fraud deal, nothing new it happende once or twice on my old cards, instantly texted that chit that it was my transaction and its legit, ANYWAY a few hours ago just trying to get gas when i took the bike out for a spin, it declined me at 1 gas station. didnt need gas terribly so w.e. just left isntead of going it. went to another gas station soon after. same. declined. yet i walked in and asked them, and bought an energy drink with it no problem.

so it works for any purchases besides gas right now, or so it seems. ive boughten advertising and other stuff since the declines on gas.
da fuqqq

time to go to chase....grr

Can anyone recommend a good business card for a new business?

Amex is nice because there's no monthly limit and I need the money to buy inventory since I won't be billing customers till the end of the month or at most every 2 weeks.

Need probably a 10k limit to start and with my current income at my slavecel job I doubt any bank would give me a card with min 10k limit.

Also will eventually be charging hundreds of thousands a year to the card so looking for one with retard travel points and sh!t. Could probably rack up 20k worth of flights a year.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

op if you are planning on getting on dat der travel rewards card...you'll need more cards that just this one. The secret is have a chit load of these travel rewards cards and combing the bonus and miles.

Also many have 50k-100k points bonus when you spend $2k-4k in 3months so look into that as well

The other cards:
- British Airways Visa Signature
- citi Advantage
- Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards (great for traveling inside the US)
...and so on.
