There is a lot of chit here on Misc but let's remember one thing also. An outlet for your emotions has been proven to help people cope. It's the whole reason why shrinks exists and why some go there and talk about their troubles and previous life experiences. Whether it's talking to a shrink, writing a diary (1990s says hi) or posting on forums, talking about our problems makes us feel better even if it's usually just for the moment.

So yeah, not all FA content here is troll or psychos... Although speaking of trolls, these past months this place has been absolutely swamped by <100 post non-avi trolls posting LDAR and redpill crap. It's obviously an invasion, either from some other forums or some crazy console-psycho.

That's why people who post here need to realize it isn't normal views. The views here are mostly people trolling, or those who are very jaded and bitter. I used to lurk here in in like 08-09 and it definitely was one of the best forums on the net. It brought the LOLs.

Now it is extremely negative an toxic place

yea, I am aware of candyjunkie. I don't think anyone intentionally encourages them. "do it *******" as we both know is just a meme and people were probably messing with him without meaning for him to do so. I don't think anyone INTENTIONALLY encourages suicides or murderous lunatics, I think the problem more so are idiots who take a literal interpretation of things.

Candyjunkie was a sad case, but do you have any hypotheticals to suggest that it was the misc that encouraged this mall shooter to do what he did? I can't recall anyone even indirectly encouraging that sort of behaviour.
