Women find some guy to date/ fall in love with when they are in the prime of their life. They have lots in common. They regularly go out and have fun. They have minimal responsibilities and live a care-free life. Then, they settle down and get married. They get pregnant have kids, then let themselves go physically. They nag & micromanage their husband until he is a shell of the man she married/ fell in love with. Then she complains that he isn't the man she fell in love with, doesn't give her attention, etc.


On the flip side men spend their time pursuing a female, going the extra mile to gain her attention, affection, and love. Once they go through all that BS to get the woman and things are solidified they can drop the effort/romance. Wife is no longer attractive physically. Both begin living their own separate yet chitty co-joined life. Etc. Men will always crave the thrill of the chase and the challenge of a new woman. Anyone who doesn't is either a cuck or has low T. A healthy male, no matter how much he loves his wife, is always going to want to find and fukk another woman. Whether he not he acts on that really just depends.





The thing that blows my mind is how much of a total gamble marriage is. Two people can have the happiest marriage ever for 10-20 years then things go to hell, the two hate each other, get a divorce, etc. It doesn't matter how happy you are in your marriage with your spouse or how long things have been great for. You're only about 12-18 months away from utterly despising that person.

The last part of what you say seems especially true in the last decade or so. Seems like the loose social ties have even further weakened and have resulted in people absolutely hating each other and blowups being even more common.
