It's funny coming back onto the misc after months of not coming on. I know a lot of people with acne that get girls. In fact my old coworker has acne 10x worse than you on his face and this dude picks up chicks consistently. It's all in your mind brah.

Dr. should prescribe you some time off the misc...srs

i probably had it worse than you op. and i used accutane and it dried up my skin real bad but after a few weeks on it my acne was gone. its been so long now, but you should still know that accutane doesnt always work for some people and actually causes some bad side affects. it was originally marketed as a chemotherapy drug and there have been a number of lawsuits of people developing things afterwards.

I'm aware of the side effects brah, but I'm tired of living with acne, and nothing else worked. I'll take the chance

How many people do any of these actually affect? This needs to be weighed up against your skin looking like OPs forever and the crippling psych damage that causes.

I'm about to buy this vitamin C serum to help fade the red marks that get left after cysts:

https://www.amazon.com/Vitamin-serum...itamin+c+serum

Is this fine to use while on accutane? I noticed it contains 5% hyaluronic acid and 1% ferulic acid.

Problem with bleaching is similar to the opposite and similarly decent approach of tanning. While bleaching creams lighten the brown spots (which is what the red spots will become after inflammation is healed and you just have more pigmentation in the area) they also lighten the skin around the spots. While tanning darkens the skin around the brown spots, it also darkens the brown spots further. Both creams and tanning can lessen the degree of contrast but you need to wait on your skin turning over.

The best answer is chemical peels but this is generally not recommended while on accutane and especially if you still have the odd pimple popping up (also there can be a purging phase for deeper developing acne that would have taken a bit to reach the surface without peel use). If you use peels (which will be the answer several months post-accutane and post-acne for sure), tread very carefully and with low concentration and/or time on skin before being washed off. Do not fukking pick any acne that develops (easier said than done but most scarring probably comes from this).

Way down the road, to deal with actual scarring (not brown spot hyperpigmentation) look into buying a microneedler and regimenting that.

TLDR:
- Cream probably wont do much. Slow, gentle tanning might do as much good for reducing contrast.
- Post accutane/post acne look into chemical peels.
- Post the above, consider micro-needling if you have scar tissue.
Most Underrated Exercise: Barbell Hack Squats.

Hold last rep on last set Deadlifts/Hack Squats for easy forearm/upper trap development.

My red marks never turn into brown marks srs. They just get more red when they're healing and then start to get dimmer until they dissapear, but they are always red. Or they become dark purple

The only "cure" for acne is Accutane (I'm sorry, it's just the truth, all other products are a scam). Most other products will just irritate it and make it worse, I've been there.

I stopped using acne products completely besides face soap and it went away fast.

How do you shave btw? Must hurt like a fking bish

Brah, not trying to peddle anything here but accutane is bogus. The long term side effects are rarely worth it.

Check outthis link to clear acne

Telling you brahs...there are ways to do this without accutane. By the way, lol at those saying you aren't washing your face or need to change your pillow. This needs to be cleared from the inside out.

Try dried turmeric in powder form. Use it as a paste with a little bit of warm water (you don't need a lot of either) and put it on before bed. You don't need to cake it on but make sure you let it dry completely before hopping in bed. You'll need to wash it off in the morning with warm water and some kind of soap to get the orange off your skin but it works if you're diligent with it. Also, no more dyes, perfumes, etc. on your clothes and sheets/blankets. And I'd stop using any and all hair care products and shampoos and only use a detergent that is free of as many chemicals as possible and don't use any kind of fabric softeners. I offer this advice based on my own experiences with doing so. Oh, and at the very least, change your pillowcase every night. Pillowcases are cheap and use all cotton pillowcases. Some people have high sensitivity to polyester but don't know it.

Talking to some guys who have had some of the most vicious cell tech hormonal type induced acne going. Accutane works where BP, creams, soaps, B5 megadosing, etc, etc haven't. Dangerous in very heavy dosing perhaps but I'm not convinced it's too bad in lower doses and it appears to be the only answer for people who tried everything before it.

Spoken like someone who has never had serious acne.... If your acne is severe enough, accutane is 100% worth it, no question about it. It's the only thing that can actually fight off the most severe acne.

Accutane is not bogus at all.

You need to moisturize too, OP. Dry skin will just continue to produce excess sebum and clog up your pores. Look for a GEL moisturizer.

Also, don't physically exfoliate.
