They were both acting weird on the tape for ages-talking about Greek gods and making zero sense. Doesn't help his case that he says he should have thrown her off the balcony towards the end of the tape where she is alive & then appears to turn violent with her pleading to go & him refusing to let her go.

There is no way he should go to jail for murder.

Some sort of involuntary manslaughter? Maybe. And that is only if the jury thinks she feared for her life. Personally, I don't think he should be charged with anything. He is a total idiot, but that is not a crime. He knew she was a psycho. He could tell that something bad might happen. Yet instead of just remaining totally calm and trying to get her out, he kept trying to have sex with her again. Kept drinking. Kept getting more angry. And then what happened happened.
