Again where in shoving match does reasonable force = slamming on ground?
And is one not an escalation of violence?

He's not wrong for defending himself, but it may have been a little excessive. Obviously her slaps and kicks didn't have nearly the effect of the force he took her down. He took her down like she was a grown man. He prevented her head from hitting the concrete, but the force he put into it was pretty bad.

Is slamming someone to ground reasonable force in a shoving match or is shoving someone back reasonable force in a shoving match?

I actually agree that there is likely nothing to happen. Still does not negate me saying there is a case (given the facts of the case which you have not refuted)
But who knows next week if shes geeling dizzy all of the sudden and theyre trying to figure out why. Or when they seek legal counsel

An underage boy was attacked by an underage female
The underage boy defended himself within his legal boundaries
The police stated that the underage female was in the wrong and asked the underage boy if he would like to press charges
There are no other facts. The rest is just your opinion.

"Defendants who claim self-defense admit that they used force or violence against the victim, but they assert that they did so because the victim was actually the attacker, that they had to act to avoid being hurt themselves (or to protect someone else from being hurt), and that the amount of force they used was proportional to the threat presented. The basic issues in any self-defense claim are who started the incident and whether the defendants response was necessary and proportionate to the threat posed by the agressor."
You have to assess the threat

Ho Lee Fuk at this thread.
HLF at everyone saying "he didn't have to come out of his house"...did she have to go over to his house?
HLF at everyone saying "he didn't have to put his hands on her"...did she have to put her hands on him?
HLF at everyone saying this isn't self defense...if it was a 100 lb dude attacking that guy, everyone would be going "LMAO! Serves him right, little *******!"
In a situation where a stupid, aggressive 15 year old girl used the poorest judgement in a number of ways, this guy was put in a situation where he had to react on what was going on in front of him. He actually showed better judgement than her with no time to think it through LOL.
The bottom line is, don't fukkin attack anyone. If you decide to throw your hands in anger at someone, then you have to accept the consequences. She had to pay for her actions by eating a little concrete, he will get a little legal slap on the wrists. They will both pay for this stupidity but something tells me he will learn more from it than she will considering how many of you WK's are burying your noses in her ass "ErrMaGawd...you totally didn't deserve that Holly! xoxo!"

We are still equal regardless, we just have different things we generally strength at. People need to understand this isn't something we chose in culture, this is something that is predetermined by our biology. Gender difference is real, and always will be.

it wasn't a purely shoving match....SHE escalated it by kicking him...thus reasonable force is to bring a point to where she can't continue to escalate the situation further. The last chick 'shoved' him in the back - he did nothing to her in return, because she didn't continue to escalate the situation.

Reasonable force is whatever the law determines is allowed. That's it. Not what you think or what I think. Personal opinions are meaningless.

If lawmakers can be corrupt
And law enforcement is subject to opinion since they dont make the laws..
Then law enforcement can come down to personal opinion..
But i mean you still wont directly answer if law enforcement can be corrupt
Easy backfall: "the law says so". "That one cops opinion is the law"
Yea i guess if i was lawmaker telling you to jump off the bridge would be aight too.
I asked you directly if slamming someone on ground is more of an escalation (which you dont want to answer truthfully) than shoving someone back?
Anyways.. we still dont even know what laws are applicable. Dude can live in a state where duty to retreat is enacted
Just because police or state dont prosecute doesnt mean theres not a case
