Lol. Females only like equality if it means preferential treatment.

Or, you don't want to be hit/battered/assaulted by anyone. Why should she be treated any differently? She attacked him and got thrown. She should have not broken the law.

Heres more from another forum.. quickly looked up throws on concrete. Guarantee its deadly force:

"When I opened my e-mail this morning I received the following video from a buddy who runs the local MMA school here in town. He sent it to a bunch of people saying how people need to not loose control in a match or people get hurt, I agree. Start watching around the 4 minute mark. Before you do I would like to mention a few things.

This is obviously a match situation.
Both guys know it is a match and nobody is going to kill them.
There is no chance of weapons being involved.
There is no chance of multiple attackers.
The contest takes place on a padded surface.
There are no vertical surfaces to be slammed into.
By nature of the contest the guy thrown was likely expecting something like it and had trained to defend/counter it.
The "victim" had nothing on his waistband to concentrate force to increase injury.
The "victim" was automatically protected by the referee and others.
After the throw the fight was over, without the "victim" having to defend himself.

OK, here is the video.
YouTube - HUGE illegal KO slam!!

When I was in HS I watched the same thing happen to a buddy while he was wrestling for the state championship. He was knocked out cold, woke up and decided to continue. He won.

If you have never played Judo, Ju Jitsu, or any arts that contain throws you cannot fully comprehend what it means to be picked up off your feet and slammed to the mat as a matter of training. When my daughter was younger she was a two time MD State Judo Champion. She did it for about 7 yrs from 5-12. She learned it so young that it is ingrained and I have seen her throw boys much bigger than her just playing around. She also knows how to control it and pull through so they don't smash their heads.

Be honest with your self, have you ever been thrown? Not taken down, not knocked to the ground, but picked up and slammed on the ground. Given all the things that I mentioned be for the video, look how our "victim" ended up. How do you think you respond if the same happened to you on concrete while wearing street clothes really giving the attacker something to hold on to, and stuff on your belt to "break" your fall.

I am interested to hear everyone's thoughts on this and if they consider it deadly force.-"

" I've been tossed a few times, even when expecting it, if you mess up your landing it's going to jar you. The taller your opponent is, the more it's going to hurt.

I would consider it deadly force as the following most certainly applies.
...create a substantial risk of causing, death or serious bodily harm., if you land on your head or any other object, or just get smacked really good on the ground, that can cause serious bodily harm or death."

A man or woman who puts their hands on someone else should be prepared to have hands put on them...

BUT...

Let's be honest... A bear hug would have worked perfectly fine in that situation.

lol at saying he should have hold her or restrain her, is he supposed to do that all day? like she would have calm down if he did, she would have keep screaming and kicking, and he probably didn't want to smash her that hard, he didn't expected for her fly like a ragdoll
crazy how a ****ty video of two degenerates fighting can cause such controversy

Huh?

I know it sounded cool because her feet whipped around and hit the ground and made athud, but how is it not in proportion? All he did was throw her down. He could have just as easily returned equal force (hitting) and cracked her across the face. He showed incredible benevolence.

She was violating his rights by committing a crime against him...why do people like you always come to the defense of an instigator/agitator? Clearly he was trying to leave peaceably and she was trying to stop him and also assaulting/battering him.

She deserved a good soccer kick to boot, but he showed great restraint.

You cant handle holding a woman from hitting you?Why would I hold a person, man or woman who is clearly being aggressive with intent to injure me. I have seen women hit and injure men twice their size a few times. Some women are way stronger and hit a lot harder than you would think... Two of my exes were perfect examples. While we would play fight at times, things would get out of hand and they would accidentally strike (punch/slap) me and that chit hurt.

I have seen women injure guys who let them just hit them in a cornered situation like the kid in the video. I will give you two examples; one of the guys I knew way back was generally regarded as a tough guy who could hold his own in a fight but when he thought to be submissive when a female friend went psycho in front of all of us, he got a broken nose and some scratches on his face as a result. The second scenario was of my HS rugby coach who was probably around 200+ pounds got punched by his 100+lb petite wife in front of us over some bullchit household argument and got a blue eye as a result. Not gonna take my chances m8

You have to throw a woman down?If I have to avoid potential harm ... but in all fairness, I would probably slap her as that is my instinctive reaction. People react differently to situations of threat

As i said.. been there..only reason you put them on the ground is to injure them or you cant handle itYes...if you harm me with intent I will harm you back...simple as that.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

If you wanna risk going to jail and potentially killing someone because of a few slaps to the face by a pathetically weak girl then go for it. I would've just restrained her. If she tries to knee you in the nuts well then you have full license to do whatever the fuk you want imo.

I didnt defend her *******

If you go to a bar and touch someone that doesnt want to be touched that doesnt mean that they can shoot you in the face

Theres an escalation of violence in order to distinguish crimes. Him throwing her on the ground didnt match what she was doing

That's lethal force. Touching someone that doesn't want to be touched is not lethal force. However, if it were sexual assault...

She was striking him and not letting him leave. Depending on what state she may meet the elements of crime for false imprisonment. His non-lethal hip throw that we teach children to do to each other in our judo schools is not an escalation of force.

It was a simple hip throw and her head was cushioned by his arm. Her feet took at least 75% of the force. Nobody was going to die, and she is the instigator/agitator, not him

so he's supposed to just also flap his arms in her face, hopping she would stop? thos equal force thing is nonsense, if a guy come to you and slap you in the face you should have the right to do more than slap him back...
if the guy would have just push her the same peoples bitching now would be bitching "oh he didn"t have to push her that hard, she could have broke her tailbone" or some other nonsense, the girl in the video isn't dead ,she's fine

Hey bro

From someone whos been in the situation. You hold their arms so they dont do anything

Guess what was running through my head? Dont throw them to the ground.

I wasnt at risk. I could handle it. The female did not pose a threat and i didnt escalate the situation

Thats "defense"

I'm not a cheerleader, I am not "choosing sides" based on gender. If someone was restraining you from leaving when you wanted to, they are committing a crime against you. Once they put hands on you, they are committing a crime against you. She escalated, agitated and instigated this event the entire video. His use of force while theatrical was incredibly appropriate. He ensured her head was not senselessly damaged, he used a non-lethal, basic throw, he escaped immediately after doing it even after being attacked again. The guy should be honored in local newspapers for not letting that situation escalate further

The guy should be honored in local newspapers for not letting that situation escalate further

From what I read and saw, she was trespassing and started attacking him, he did what any normal person would do if they were under attack at their own property. It's called self defense.

well good for you, you're smarter and more coolheaded than this guy, but i'm still thinking that if someone come to your house insulting you and hitting ,no matter how weak and undangerous this person is, you have the right to do more than just trying to hold him and calming him down. if this person get a beatdown that's his own fault
and also this guy probably not use to fight a 100lbs girl so he probably didn't meant to smash her that hard and was probably in fact just trying to hold her down

Not reading 11 pages of BS and purse swinging, this reply is pretty accurate. People are uncomfortable understanding how a de-escalation ladder actually works when you get to to force on force rung.

No dog in this fight, but lol at the wks giving advice on restraining someone who doesn't want to be restrained or furthering your harassment into assault. You'd be better off hitting them for lesser charges. Look up your laws.

I would consider it deadly force as the following most certainly applies.
...create a substantial risk of causing, death or serious bodily harm., if you land on your head or any other object, or just get smacked really good on the ground, that can cause serious bodily harm or death."
you can look up all the posts you want, but I've been thrown/thrown people for many years, cus I've done judo, and you are still retarded.

maybe this guy didn't read this forum...when people say deadly force they often mean "with the intent to kil" or at least "have a high probabilty of killing". what percentage of judo throw end up in a death? 0.000000001%? by that definition a punch is also deadly force
that's just arguing semantics now, except if you're the girl lawyer i don't really see the point
