Have to agree. I love Texas but for that much you could have a few really nice places in cool locations not to mention the fact that you could sell lower valued properties a lot easier than this monstrosity.

If he doesn't have 6 children and a wife then the house would be too big for a small family. Perhaps he should of bought a luxury penthouse and then used the remaining money to buy a luxury yacht. But I guess since Dallas is landlocked then a yacht wouldn't be practical.

mind=blown @ how a dentist is able to have a mansion more impressive than most celebrities

Besides the cost of the house/property itself, I wonder what the expenses are to maintain a mansion like that. Property taxes and insurance is probably thousands per year, and who knows how much the landscaping and pool maintenance cost.
