It would streamline our lives in America: brb credit card, id, keys, never lost again. But then this leads into the second coming of Christ, which I dont mind as well. Idk why the Christians ITT are scared, remember what it says will happen to us? If you do not, please re-read Revelations.
Im for it, actually.

Welp I found this in case anyone's really worried.
http://www.snopes.com/microchip-implant/
They basically said it was only mentioned on NBC and they didn't say everyone would get it or that it would even be common in 2017

Call me crazy but I actually see huge potential.
I see that Google is a massive corporate giant ran and motivated by public opinion and stockholders, not willing to create something negative because it would bring down the corporation. Now there could be uses for smaller, less controlled companies to attempt to do something negative with this type of technology in the future but the risk is the same as somebody stealing your password. It's not a "mind control" device, it's a verification device, for now.
So many people are so paranoid. When there's a cause for paranoia, let's get paranoid. Now isn't the time, this is exciting potential technology.

The scary thing is that they won't even make it mandatory. They'll make it optional, with a bunch of cool features that make your life more convenient. People will do it voluntarily.
People will eventually get used to the idea, and then it will be gradually used for more and more things until everyone has to get one.
Because it happens gradually and "voluntarily", they won't even see what's happening until it's too late
And anyone who opposes it will be shamed as a tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist

You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told you're a god or a total bastard. The iron always kicks you the real deal. It's the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. I have found it to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But 200 pounds is always 200 pounds.
