The "bear claw" kept popping up on m14 forum posts from like 10 years ago when I was looking around for reviews of ammo that doesn't dump out all it's velocity. Ordered the trophy bonded as the reviews said it gives an ok expansion but drives right through large game with a clear exit channel. I must've missed the "built on bear claw platform" in their advertising but was pleasantly surprised when I turned the box over and saw that.

Also, the m14 posts recommended Nosler paritions, or trophy bonded, and avoid soft point for bears.

For a SHTF round that could penetrate auto glass and still maintain good stats should I just look for a standard soft point round and avoid Sierra Match King or other match hollowpoint tips? SGammo has Speer 308 LE, the only thing special about it seems to be it's a soft point, would a Federal Vital-Shok with a Sierra GameKing bullet be comparable?
Match bullets labeled OTM or "Open Tip Match" are not expanding bullets in the way you think of a hollowpoint pistol round. What "OTM" refers to is the casting method for the bullet. Traditional FMJ bullets have a lead slug core that is basically shoved into a copper jacket which is then pressed into the shape of a bullet. An OTM bullet has a preformed jacket with an open tip, through which the lead for the bullet is poured. This creates greater uniformity of weight distribution and increases accuracy as a result.

A 175g OTM bullet will be accurate at long range, and will shoot great out of your rifle. It will absolutely penetrate auto glass. 7.62 will go through tree trunks at 100 yds.

Has anyone put an MBUS front sight on a Quantum rail? What did you have to do to make it functional?

Will kmplex ever post a build list?

Also, fuk Aero's Quantum rails. The bbl nut design sucks and the rail itself is so fat that an MBUS front sight won't fold down mounted on the front piece of pic rail.

This is terrible news man. Couldn't you just renew the license, regardless if you had shot recently?

I've heard some manufacturers get around the handgun roster by selling AR pistols with manual actiobs, similar to bolt action. Then when you get it in your posession you can convert to semi auto. But the new laws take effect soon, next year is it?

No bullet button equipped "assault weapons".

Mag locked ARs should still be legal to buy after the new year though.
Yes, I've used 20 grams a day. I've used all different doses. In the end, if you're using more than 5 a day, it's a waste. The science supports this, unless you get your research from Muscletech ads.

This ^

And depending on your bodyweight and the type of creatine being taken, 3g something like 4-5 days a week may be enough to reach and maintain saturation.

Anything more than 5g of creatine per day is either ignorance, bro-science, or marketing to up sales volume.

The Quantum has everything the rifle needs, and now that I've filed down the ears on the MBUS, it works fine. The BBL nut, which is the same for all AERO rails, sucks, and nothing is going to change that.

My full zip and half zip rain jackets are by Champion, pretty much lowest tier. They're baggy, no insulation, with hoods. Use them for daily stuff and hiking.

I am planning on getting a Kuhl Kollusion jacket:https://www.rei.com/product/872709/k...on-jacket-mens
My jackets have some holes and the sleeves are cut low. Tried on a Kuhl and it's more fitted, the hood rolls up into the collar, and the arms are cut high so I'd have better mobility and not look like I'm wearing a moomoo.

We've had 9 inches of rain this month in the Seattle area. We're set to have another record breaking wet winter.

lol

In the past, when using a laser boresight in the chamber, I've had to resort to setting up a bench in my front foyer, and aiming though the kitchen back door at a target on the backyard fence. Then measure with a tape measure.
