They should conduct an experiment to see the effect of depriving a man of sex (and even male asses no homo) for extended periods (no guns or people they can actually kill to take out their frustrations. It should be a very well setup and controlled environment)

I guess it's only natural for the brain to find some way to reconcile the deficiency in real life by creating a fantastical portrayal within imagination. Cartoons are the direct step to that, especially since most adults these days grew up with some form of cartoons as a child, which was how they first understood how to bring elements of their imagination "to life" so to speak. Fascinating indeed.
