Are there any wagers placed for who will win the election? I'm sure there are more than enough 30round mags from panic buying that you guys could spare a few

I honestly don't know which way to call it at this point.
Liberal polls still show her winning (we know how much CNN and similar polls can be trusted), but if you go off of literally ANYTHING else (rally turnouts, etc, etc), he's absolutely obliterating her. I mean Trump is packing fuking arenas with tens of thousands of people, meanwhile she literally cannot fill high school gyms.

What do non biased polls say? I honestly haven't been keeping up between being so busy and just flat out trying not to think about it much.

Edit: Still have literally never met a Hillary supporter yet IRL. 100% serious. I mean, I try not to interact with liberal morons on a regular basis, but still....

IBD/TIPP has him leading.

I still think Shrillary wins . . . and it will suck. Trump's just too much of a disaster and his path is too narrow. Pretty much has to have every single little thing go right . . . and then a few more.

Doesn't matter what he's up or down nationally . . . he HAS to win FL and then also at least one other between PA/NC/VA/MI to have a shot. Even then, literally everything else that tends to go R needs to go his way or he's done.

The idea being floated around is that Hillary gave up on NC and is defending MI to try and make up for it. CO is gunna be a toss up, IMO a hard state to predict right now. Same with MI.

Trump has FL, I'm in the most democratic part and it's all trump support but more importantly early voting turnout is great for republicans so far, they are tied with the democrats and usually democrats lead early voting and then republicans gain it back on election day.

We'll soon find out.

I've said before that I would not be shocked if CO went Trump . . . but it's a longer shot than I think some seem to think it is. It's roughly 1/3 independents who tend to break left. But Hillary is so unpopular that it could squeak the other way by a hair. In the end I think Trump will not win CO.

My reason behind giving him the edge is the recent gun control that got enacted there (mag restriction right?) and Trump's position on MJ legalization (states rights). We saw what the post Sandy Hook gun control push did to the democrats when election time rolled around, maybe history will repeat itself in CO.

But the voters of CO want the mag restriction, and re-elected the governor that pushed for it and signed it. That isn't going to tip the scale, needs moar

Ouch. Hope the little one gets to feeling better soon.

I'm about to pour myself something. Been a long day. Got up early and hit the gym. Took the doge for a really long walk. Reorganized and cleaned up the garage a bit--was time to bring the snowblower to the front and get it all tuned and running. Then I had to replace the kitchen faucet after 11 years, which is always a treat.

I live near an interstate highway. I couldn't tell you the difference between a quake or the freeway. Others in the KC area felt it.

Took my new rofl out today:

Not too great of groups, considering what the rifle is capable of. But I was mostly concerned with sighting it in and figuring out what ammo it likes best; seems to be heavier bullets. So I'll reload accordingly. Got a lot of stares at the range.

Nice. What caliber? How are you adjusting to the bullpup bolt throw/design? This your first high end rifle?

I got it in 308; figured it would be good to start with and I can easily convert to several calibers later. Yep, first high end, and first bolt action. Though I've shot other bolts, I did so little that I don't really have to fight agains any muscle memory. It feels fine to me. Although, I did keep trying to insert the magazine in front of the trigger...

OG MAGA
Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.
