ok i was wondering what happened to the sight in that pic, it makes sense. that would be pretty cool cause im not a big fan of the side mounted rails, from a mechanical standpoint i would imagine its much easier to keep a straight line if its mounted on the same plane you intend to shoot in vs a sight that mounts of the side and joggles over

it appears to me that Anderson is anticipating a rush, seen a whole bunch of sites with them on sale last few days

which doesn't make sense if they didn't have a lot in stock or thought they would become scarce soon

plus with the last few years of panic buying IE sandy hook etc etc etc I don't think this will be full 1994 for guns until January when everyone panic buys the 2 weeks before shes sworn in, background checks have been steadily trending upward every month and there has been less of a market response each time there is a threat of legislation

basically I think barry sold so many guns most people arent really looking for more

im more worried about a rush on ammo mags etc

regardless cant have enough stripped lowers, they dont take up much room in the safe

anyone think she will try an assault weapons ban not grandfathering previous weapons?

Based on my research it's a good chambering, allows you to feed the gun .223 and 5.56 without worrying about anything, middle of the road kinda deal.

Took my little one who is far too political at his age (10 y/o) to the voting polls on Sunday. He wanted to wear his Trump hat and shirt but I couldn't let him. Read a story where a guy from Texas was arrested for wearing a Trump shirt and refused to take it off at the polls. He was disappoint but he is wearing it to school tomorrow.

That's the law in most states. No political signs within a certain distance from polls. I know a some who wear political shirts, cover up with a jacket within 75 feet, then take it back off when they leave.

If she wins an uptick in purchases will start tomorrow evening.

But simply having a new POTUS shouldn't be that big of a deal, unless the Dems have majorities (or ability to vote majority combining with independents or something) in both the House and the Senate, we WILL NOT see new control legislation.

Four years ago the panic didn't really hit until sandy hook and the huge failure at a federal gun grab (but success in CO).

Really, people need to stop being fking morons and stop acting like Obama is pro gun and like Obama being POTUS is the only reason we aren't getting gun control, because that's what it means to think we'll get it all of the sudden with an anti gun president coming in. FFS people, are we really that stupid as to think Obama is preventing the feds from passing gun control?

Gun ownership was far different two decades ago than it is now. Back in 1994 AR/AK/etc etc type rifles were much less common than they are now. The AR15 type rifle, as best as we can tell, has been the single best selling rifle type in the country for years. Back then, that was not the case. It's an entirely different landscape now. Things change.

She can make it her initiative all she wants. Obama pushed hard on it after he was re-elected 4 years ago. How did that not even make it to the floor for a vote? You should be far more interested in what happened and why a mere 4 years ago than 22 years ago. Also, the sunset clause was a factor in the 94-04 ban, and it cost the Dems the legislature for years (that and NAFTA I suppose)

Assuming you have two is one, one is none for quality defensive pistol, and a good defensive capable semi auto rifle of choice along with key spare parts (or two is one, one is none), and assuming you have at least say a dozen real solid standard cap magazines for each (20+ all the better)...ammo. An Anderson or any other well priced stripped lower if you don't already have more lowers than uppers, perhaps.

Magazines if you want them just to have them, or want to take a stab at some psycho going psycho right after the election like four years ago
