Assuming getting rid of obamacare takes us back to where we were before, would be the biggest raise I've ever had. Not to mention my beautiful $500 deductible would be back and I might actually get this hernia fixed.

Sure appears that way. I'm hoping the exempt ccw holders as we've already been through background and background check, but probably not. I still have to get a background check to purchase a firearm.

It also does away with internet purchases. I made a fairly large purchase this morning (3k rounds).
Proposition 63 required individuals who wish to purchase ammunition to first obtain a permit. The measure mandated dealers to check this permit before selling ammunition. The measure also eliminated several exemptions to the large-capacity magazines ban and increased the penalty for possessing them. Proposition 63 enacted a court process that attempts to ensure prohibited individuals do not continue to have firearms.[1]

Proposition 47 of 2014 made stealing an item that is valued at less than $950 a misdemeanor. Therefore, stealing a gun valued at less than $950 is a misdemeanor. Proposition 63 made stealing a gun, including one valued at less than $950, a felony punishable by up to three years in prison.
Proposition 63 was designed to require individuals who wish to purchase ammunition to first obtain a four-year permit from the California Department of Justice. The measure required dealers to check this permit before selling ammunition.[1] California enacted legislation in July 2016 that repealed this provision and instead mandated dealers to check with the Department of Justice to determine if the buyer is authorized to purchase.
So, not a permit anymore, but a "check" with the DOJ

Liberals tried it in Canada too.

Spent years trying to get every farmer in the country to register their coyote guns. A billion dollars spent in liberal government friendly ridings trying to set it up before the Conservative govt finally scrapped it.

Really?

Trump supporter. BS in physics (minor in applied math). Graduate work in Nuclear Engineering. MBA from top 50 business school. Nuclear Engineering manager. 6 figures+ by 30. Working on trying to get my first real investment property (already rent my house back in VA but it doesn't make money, but technically I own 2 homes).

Right. Put that up your sisters angus and turn it sideways.

My favorite attack on my FB from last night

Me: America, you're making me proud. Drain the swamp. MAGA
Feminist Cousin: And go ahead and wreck the economy while you are at it. Dow jones futures down 750
Me: You have to break a few eggs to make an omlet. Guess we know who's pockets Wallstreet was in.
Feminist Cousin: 800 points. Kiss your retirement account goodbye. That's far from great.

This morning.
Me: Dow up to record highs. Trump already turned the economy around and not even in office yet. Win Win

Silence.

*shrugs* that's my MO. I like to keep quiet about it and be humble. That way I can toss it out there like a BBC. And correction, 30, not 31.

Also have some millennial "traits" when you first look at me. Hair. Car. Dress well for a dude. Then I bust out my Heckler and Koch had and shock people when I explain what it is. Or what I do. Or what I think.

Smiled and nodded at a kickball game a few weeks ago while a fellow millennial had a total circle jerk on Hillary assuming I was the same. Dropped the no she isn't getting my vote, I wouldn't have a security clearance if I did what she did and let alone a job, she blows national security to the wind repeatedly, has no respect for the military and hates them so *she* would actually start ww3 with ZFG (see putin quote on wanting to mend fences now ironically), gladly take someone with balls and that isn't the usual DC career policitian, someone who would actually surround himself with smart people based on his business experience and needing to do that, LOVE that everyone in DC hates him, and know he would call people in congress and senate on their chit PUBLICALLY (I think this is really why theyre afraid, he doesn't play the game).

Dude was almost scared.

Phucking beautiful. DOW, Nasdaq, and S&P are up 1%. I have some stocks north of 10-13%.

Now...I bet we're red tomorrow for some profit taking. But longrun, im a happy camper. But I was hoping for a rental property next year, gf (mortgage banker) has already said they've repriced rates up 3 times today. That's bad, and good.

My dad stopped by with over 1,000 rounds of .22 ammo for me on Sunday. I actually ran out of .22s last weekend. Dang pumpkins are too much fun to shoot. I was in full panic mode with the possibility of hillary becoming president. Thankfully, my dad was in full prep mode.

Nice Dad! Especially pre-election.

I've been grabbing all of the mini mags I can. Those seemed to be the hardest to come by during the last ammo drought. I think I have 2k in the safe right now.

your decrease in income would likely be offset by the lower cost of living. boise is on the other side of the state from me, near the Oregon border. it is a beautiful area but mostly high desert terrain; hot and dry year round with temps over 100 for stretches during the summer and very mild winters. this side of the state is where it's at if you are an outdoorsman or just enjoy untouched nature and being able to piss outside

It's replacing the business income that would be difficult. Business is based around an ag commodity that is only grown here in Cali. It's all good though. Hopefully, I'll get to a point I can buy a summer place in the middle of nowhere.

For me it's a bolt action 223, but the registry I was talking about was for all long barrelled guns including shot guns.

They pissed away $100 million a year for 10+ years before they admitted how pointless registering them was.
