e92 is based on e90
e90 came out in 2006
e90 was designed in 2004-2005

So.... look at interior from 2006 US brands and compared it to an e90. Yep thought so...

strong excuse for them to not upgrade the interior in 7-8 years

but but but it was based on a car from 2004...that makes bmw even more poverty

7 year cycle bruh... interior stays the same. No car maker upgrades interior mid-life.

The reason you bish about it, its because in the past 5 years or so, many car makers stepped up their interior game as technology improved. Unfortunately its all eye candy and no substance, as materials are cheap to the touch. But they do fool the eye, so theres that. Also, driving experience is decent at best in economy cars.

Interior is poverty to match the exterior.

I see far too many young "thugs" driving these things around that I can't seem to associate BMW's with quality and prestige. Even if it's a nice looking newer model, my knee jerk reaction is to roll my eyes until I take time to look it over.

Interior quality probably peaked at the E38 (see below). Everything since then kind of feels like rubber coated paper mache. But the M3 is also a performance oriented car, it would be stupid if it had bubinga burl trim and stuff. But yeah it definitely feels cheap. It's all about saving money and faster assembly.

All that money for a sea of flat black plastic. Even their leathers are uninspiring.

Srs tho nothing more luxury than this. Maybe RR Phantom or Mulsanne, but those 2 are too expensive.

Anyways BMW feels a bit more comfortable than Benz, while Benz interior is far more luxury, I own a Benz C250 and drived BMW b4.
