The first time I went to the Humane society, I was looking for a puppy, and saw a lady point to a little Jack Russell mix and say "She's too old nobody will adopt her." It pissed me off so much that I adopted the Jack Russell and decided I will only adopt senior dogs from now on to give them the best few years they have left.

My fiance is the same way. She loves senior dogs and wants to adopt one when we get a house and have room for 3 dogs.

Gahhhh there's a dog at my local humane society that has the exact kind of dog I want, and I'm so close to closing on a house that I want to get him. But I don't know how much longer it will be and I don't want to rush in to it. He's a 1.5 year old Basenji. If he's still available in the next month, I'm pretty sure I'm going to adopt him

I also got my eye on this syberian chow that is at the local animal shelter. super rare to come across a chow chow let along a mix of syberian huskie with it. i doubt he will be there long enough for me to come up with the money to get him though. he is gorgeous.

VetTix is awesome. Went to a Devils game, NBA game, a concert, a comedy show. Things I would have never done if it wasn't for VetTix.
