Any thoughts on Cedrat Boise and how it compares to Aventus?

Supposed to be similar to Aventus but more on the fruity side.

Thinking of blind buying a decant sometime soon since it's not available in stores here.

Tried Cedrat a long time ago but it definitely had more of a sweeter "syrupy" vibe than Aventus.

it should be. I get why dudes would wear Sauvage, but I dont understand why dudes would NOT wear Eau Sauvage (especially the extreme, hnnnngggg).

Chit makes me feel like how Sean Connery would after surviving a shark tank without getting the suit wet knowing a russian spy babe is lounging scantily clad wrapped in mink sheets near a roaring fire with negroni's awaiting.

Issey Miyake totally nailed the classic Italian Ice, and I think that highline citrus vibe defines"Eau"by its most traditional definition, so despite the brainfreeze effect many people experience from it (including myself), I do admire the fragrance for its artistic expression.

I look forward to sampling d'Issey Pour Homme Sport (as many have compared it with Mandarino Di Amalfi)and d'Issey Pour Homme Intense (for its incense note). Anyone got any info on these?

Curve.

Brahs, we have a problem. This morning I discovered I'm down to my last few drops of SMW. Needless to say, I'll be picking up more this weekend. In doing so, I'll also be in close proximity to places that sell.. ermmm...other stuff. If you could supplement SMW with something like it, would you go with Mefisto from Xerjoff or Hamptons from Bond No. 9?

Please respond.

They are a bit similar, but to me, not as close as people make them out to be. CB is "denser" for lack of a better word to me. It almost reminds my of a frag with oud in it. It smells great, but I wouldn't blind buy it though.

I would pick meifisto over Hamptons. Hamptons is a bit more floral/powdery to me. Meifisto is closer to SMW in my opinion.

Last night i received my decant of Kilian Musk Oud from the saks blackfriday deal.. Good lord that is one strong frag. I wiped the back of my hand with the nozzle of the atomizer and it was projecting like a monster. It even survived a shower. Anyone that has performance issues with a frag like this really needs to get their noses checked. I love the sillage of this one from far away, but its quite harsh when you smell it close up. Good frag, but a full bottle would be massive overkill as i cant imaging going more than 1 spray at a time. Does anyone ITT own this?

Hmmm... maybe I'll go for Hamptons then. Maybe I'll find it to be SMW-like, but still distinct. I've sampled Mefisto and I found it to be alright. It was just a tad bit more citrusy than SMW.

One of the most unique frags i've owned, and to be honest, i find it hard to describe it other than to say its a sweet natural smelling orange blossom frag that i just couldn't stop bringing my wrist to my nose each time i wore it. That being said, there was something in that that turned me off after a few hours and while i love the way it smelled, i never really reached for it after a while and sold it. It is most def worth checking it out and trying it.

I havent tried anything else from Ineke, but if Field Notes is representative of the line, she is an excellent perfumer.

Hamptons is def SMW-like with a twist. It is unique enough to stand on its own. Got me a few compliments, unfortunately, its a bond and has its gaddem house note.

Hey guys,

How does someone get a scent like Tuscon Leather for less than full price? I haven't been able to smell a TL sample but I'd be willing to blind buy if it's available somewhere.

Edit: anyone ever but trials or something like that off eBay? I wouldn't normally buy anything like that.
