Steins;gate is the current GOAT dead srs. That anime ruined me.


Neon Genesis Evangelion is my personal favorite. Recently rewatched, was definitely better the first time, but still quality. The rest of your previously watched list is solid though.

Tokyo Ghoul was good too.

Watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. From the beginning. Seriously, do it. Forget all the memes, it's legit good as f*ck. It's been a while since I've actually been hype for a new episode of an anime to come out.

Jojo's is fun, cool, compelling, hillarious, creepy, badass, manly, original, and bizarre all at the same time. If you like anime and you haven't already, watch Jojo's. It's good.

^I've watched the first half of S1 of JoJo and it's good, once my wife and I finish S2 of K we're going to watch all of JoJo. To list the best ones I can remember:

There are other good ones I've seen but they all run together to me and I can never remember the names. I'd also like to go back and watch some older shows that I only saw a handful of episodes of but heard they were good like Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, and Cowboy Bebop.

Also I agree SAO is awesome, probably my favorite anime excluding DB/DBZ I've ever seen, although I prefer S1.

it's necessary to setup on the history for all the other seasons tho

Did anyone mention Food Wars yet? Get past the overt (softcore) sexual imagery and it's a legit awesome show about something usually so banal.

Watch Neon Genesis Evangelion OP, not sure why you haven't seen it yet. Gunbuster too. Gainax is a bucket list studio.

@Feralbeast Hunter X Hunter is good because you originally think it's about a young boy going on happy adventures, but it turns out that every character has a deep backstory and become focuses at one point.

And its not about happy adventures, it's about the power of personal connections, development of oneself and the trials and tribulations that are pushed upon us.

The lore behind techniques is also the most in depth you will ever find, no beef with DBZ but there's more to it than Ki and fighting styles.
