The biggest thing I learned about women/people in general is that people will treat you in the manner that you allow them to.

When I was weak with girls I constantly had flaking and girls ignoring my date offers, "sorry my phone died 4 days ago so I couldn't get back to you". Now, I don't take any chit and I'm willing to speak up/walk away at the first sign of disrespect. People, unsurprisingly do not **** me over if they want to see me again. A woman will often do a 180 on her behavior if you call her out/make yourself absent - they arn't used to guys telling them what's up.

A lot of guys let women walk over them and women know they can get away with it.

This man gets it. I used to take it personal as sh*t when women flaked. Now I don't even bother texting back.

Reminds me of a date I had way back. We were at a pub, the conversation went well and before we knew we both had to go (last bus public transport, which is common for students here). I paid for the first drink, out of habit, I also alternate paying with friends. I said, next round is on you. Before we knew, time was up. When I kissed her on the cheek goodbye, she said: "thanks for the drink" and hopped on the bus.

Later she was "always busy."
